Halloween in Sin City! Under a nearly full moon! For future reference, thanks, but no thanks...
Last night was a wedding celebration for friends -- one of whom I had met on MD. It was my secondary impetus for coming for the Matchdoctor get-together here and the primary reason for my extended stay.
I felt homesick last night -- wanting to have my own bed, my own car, my freedom to come and go as I chose, Sophie and Henry snuggling up to me, humidity, the anticipation of going to church in the morning with a song in my heart, no smoke drifting my way or permeating my hair and clothes....
I am hoping today will revive my enthusiasm for the trip...
I wish my buds from the past week were still around...
