I have been contacted by men that are suppose to be working in Africa and after they got to talking starting trying to scam for money. They may give you a story about needing money until a delivery is made or a shipment comes in or maybe they will ask you to open a bank account for them til they get home. Please do not do this. Delete them and report them ASAP for they are only out to scam you. It is going on here and in other sites on the computer. They seem very nice and kind but looks can be deceiving so beware!!

I have been contacted by men that are suppose to be working in Africa… Stop right there. Brilliant, flaming red flag. Whenever you see the word "Africa," report the bastard and then block. Next, get on Google and learn what scamming is and how long it's been around.

There are sites online you can check for scammers photos, one is Romancescams can't remember the others off the top of my head. When I used to date, I was on alot of dating sites, I ran into scammers even on HotorNot so ladies beware when you are on that site too. They are also on Plentyoffish. Be on your guard ladies. Alot of these guys will post photos of gorgeous men, models just to get your attention, to take your money.

Yes,, gone are the days when all they wanted was sex chat,,, and some naked pics of you.
RULE OF THUMB,,,, NEVER SEND ANYONE MONEY!!!!
Internet, email, chat, junk mail in the box, phone calls in the evening, magazine compaines, etc.,, ARE ALL TRYING TO SCAM YOU OUT OF SOMETHING.
Now,,, repeat after me,,,
NEVER SEND ANYONE MONEY.
Don't even pay your bills over the phone, or keyboard,,, unless you have the paper bill in your hand. How many people have been snake bit by the "Guy on the Phone",,, I'm calling to get the bill so we will not cut your power off this afternoon. If you can't pay the whole bill, how much can you pay so we can keep your power on, on your heat on. (SCAM) If you think it's really the power company,,, call back the customer service number on the paper bill,,, and ask for the name the caller gave you,,, or just pay the bill that way.
NEVER SEND ANYONE MONEY Repeat that 100 times. Then 5 every morning, and put a note by the phone,,, and on the keyborad.
If you ever send them just 1 cent,,, you go on the list of suckers,,, which they sell to other scammers,,, and you are off to the races. In fact,, they even sell the credit card information and checking account information with your name,,, which you paid that 1 cent with.
NEVER SEND ANYONE MONEY.
Except me of course,,, I'm your friend,, the only one telling you the truth,,, and you are a good person,, and I'm your friend,,, and I'm in a terrible short term cash flow problem,,, and you are a good person,,, and I am telling you the truth,,, but I can't continue to tell you the truth unless you can help me out of bind,,, which I'll be glad to pay your back double next week,,, and your are a good person, and I'm a good person, and GOD wants you to help me help,,, (insert scripture here),, and this counts as your tithe,,,
NEVER SEND ANYONE MONEY.

I think i may have been contacted by some the same people u have an figured it right off after goggleing em an there stories werent kosher . I just wont even talk people that say they are in africa nigeria or ghanna or even the uk i been contactedy a few there to that smelled like scammers . I even typed there names in at bing.com an got few adds where they were trying to do same thing on other sites an if i get supicious i will go look at romance scam to see if i can find the pics an lots time i have fnd there pics there . I fell for it twice an was stupid for it . I report em now an block .
