One of those days…

Have you ever had one of those days when nothing goes right?
Have you ever had a nightmare in the midst of broad daylight?
Did your car not start this morning? Did you lock yourself outside?
Were you having a bad hair day and you wanted to run and hide?

Were you trying to hang with the crowd and found you were out of sync?
Did you blurt something out today before you stopped to think?
Did you make it to your meeting but you were very late?
Were you supposed to buy a present but, you forgot the date?

Did you snag your pantyhose or did you break a nail?
Did you forget the closing contracts had to go out with the mail?
Did you have to drink cold coffee or did you burn your toast?
Did you ruin your favorite blouse or shirt, the one you like the most?

Did you forget daylight savings time and so you didn’t set your clock?
Did you burst in on someone indisposed because you forgot to knock?
Of all the things that did go wrong can’t you honestly say,
That because you made it through them all, it was A VERY GOOD DAY?
