I really hate waking up with the sun already 30 degrees in the morning sky. So, I'm voting for year round Daylight Savings Time. Hopefully, I'm not alone on this. It's dark when I'm driving home from work and "that ain't right".
Who do I have to talk to about making DST happen 365 days a year? It's gotta be. Changing clocks isn't a big deal... not that I've changed them all yet. My computer changed last week. I wasn't ready so I switched it back. Maybe I'll actually get to work on-time now... too many things to do. I need more hours in the day, days in the week, weeks in the month and months in the year.
Twenty years ago, I was working for a company... general manager of a furniture factory that employed 50 people. They called me for everything... I could hardly take a piss when someone would be banging on the door shouting I had a phone call. Stupid calls too. I don't mind being busy as long as it's productive. Keep me busy doing bullshit and I get a annoyed. My boss knew when I was angry... he knew when I was tired of grown men acting like kids. "Tommy, did you remember to bring your tools today?" "Brian, it's the same house you worked in YESTERDAY, why is it so hard to find the place today?"
I went to work wearing TWO wrist watches... on the same arm. Some people thought it was a fashion statement. My boss came right out and asked... I told him "I need more time for me" He understood.
