.there.are a few.places to stay ..with Ghosts,,
for an unusual weekend Retreat...many are in Europe
and there is Salem..in USA
...Scotland has a place in Edinburgh
where there is a "lot of noise in the night,,,and cutlery clinking ,,doors open and shut.3am...but no one there?"...built in 1800 ..staff lived on the top floor...it is cheap there...£30 a night..[$60].a guesthouse.
but if you have to fly to a destination ,,prices increase
so to Port Arthur ..Tasmania ..Australia...where a little girl .and ex convicts have spooked a few people.by.a narrow strip with shark infested waters![that price is over £700..[$1400]... 
or Luderitz..in Namibia Africa...50 yrs ago Diamond miners left a whole town .casino etc...today its ripped apart by Sandstorms...same price to travel there .... 
but the Counts Castle in Transylvania...Romania ..is the place to go!! re opened by the family after 50 yrs of Exile....the village has little infra structure so you have every chance of a Black out ..keep your Broomstick handy ,,as the wolves will be Howling !...[3 nights is £700]full board!..and you have to fly to Bucharest:)

I've been spooked many a time just by walking into some shady saloon. 
The patrons looked as if they were celebrating Halloween but it was July!

Yes, Anthony Bourdain went to Romania on his Travel channel show called "No Reservations"..........He ate dinner at Dracula's castle I think.

Interesting Lep, if i have plenty of money that 'd be fun to try a night there
I like to see most of them Hungary,Germany and yes especially Romania.
If i must choose one i rather choose the oldest one.

I would love to visit Thornewood Castle in the state of Washington. Rose Red was based on real ghosts in the Stephen King movie.

,I dont know if ..I would pay vast sums to be Frightened witless..[you can do it for free in lots of ways , even reading books ^^yes Stephen King.."...movies too.Alfred Hitchcock .."psycho " and "Birds,,,I cant watch "Halloween "movies ..:(.

..other places that ,invite guests,, a Manor ,on the south coast ,,England.which was on TV *Preston Manor..a most haunted place , visitors have seen a lady in white...and others have er seen ..a [sit down!] .. a floating Dismembered Hand:(  ...a light hearted ,,place to ...have afternoon Tea then ??
.they charge £12 a person for a tour round..[$24] you may not feel like Tea c[_] after that..:)
.and Sir Arthur ,,Conan Doyle..[creator of sherlock Holmes]was believed to hold Seances .in Beaulieu Hampshire[south /england]when he visited ,, the area is well known as Lord Montagu Beaulieu holds vintage car displays , each year in this town,,  in the hotel ,*Montagu Arms....there have been sightings of Isabella..Countess of Beaulieu ,,who died in ..1786...
they charge ,,£90 a night ..[$180] but you may need a few jars in the Bar before you retire ,,[if youre of a Nervous Disposition!],,,
