Can't say I fear God, though I will try to live up to live with the courage, strength and honor that Crom would expect of me. I am, however, wary of those who profess to act in the name of their God. Jim Jones, Torquemada, Bakker & Swaggart...even Shickelgruber used to invoke...aw, if I go back making historical annotations of the last two thousand years, it'll never end and I'll lose all credibility, right or wrong.
And while I have no great respect for the gays and their freak-show parades, I feel that, as a left-handed person, I am somewhere further down on the list to be reformed or eliminated so I practice tolerance. Jews, independent women, the list goes on...the religious right like the political right defines itself less what it's for than who they're against.

ya really,,,,where did this "fear" god thing come from and why should i live in fear of what should be an understanding and forgiving deity?
if he made me to fear him,,,then what does that say about him?
do you wish to instill fear in those around you? and if so have you ever realized what an ahole that made you?
i propose we ban the use of such a inflammatory adage ,,,and instead i would be glad to offer some options..
god "loving"
god "caring"
god "gracing"
go crazy,,,really anything but god fearing,,,sounds so ominous and unappealing..
