Hopefully my first of many blogs! Over the years I have met and spent time with many European and US girls; work, friends, relatiuonships etc. I've noted a number of general differences and curious to see if you agree. I emphasise the word general differences. US girls tend to be enthusiastic and positive about people and relationships, party hard and work hard, are hugely self aware, tend to over analyse, seem more focused and driven, are always more commercial. My European friends are often similar but seem more laid back, are usually more passive in relationships, are often more supportive, are usually higher maintenance, and dare I say it the girls seem to be more feminine. Both are great to spend time with but I always feel difference in their company. I often wonder how skewed my views are as based on girls from the east coast rather than west, and in Europe its girls mainly from, France, Switzerland, and Spain. I'll refrain from commenting on girls from the UK and Russia. Maybe that's the subject of my next blog. So what do you think?

One thing in this blog really stood out for me...when I spent some time in Europe, I could not believe the pace there. They had all day...the rest of their lives in fact to get something done. It was a total culture shock for me to see check-out cashiers sitting on chairs and staring off into space while scanning groceries.
As an American, I was talking to strangers, hugging children and basically babbling away to anyone not walking 4 miles an hour. Somethings are just not done over there and I found bending down and chatting with their children is a no-no.
Does that make it bad? No. Just very different.
The shoes over there were to DIE for, and the food much simpler. But hands-down I was the most slovenly dressed women on the streets most times. They seem to take great care with their appearance and I think "higher-maintenance" might fit for them.
As for relationship, I can't speak with any authority on that, but their is a definite European flavor for to be seen among relationships over there. The woman seems much more passive than we American girls.
As for femininity...again..I was the one in hiking boots traipsing everywhere, getting food from street vendors and talking to everyone. On a whole, that statement speaks to my experiences as well.
The wonder of different cultures! I loved every minute of it and reveled in the differences between us!

Point to ponder, whilst in Europe, Asia, Canada & the U.K. I've found women to
date via these kind of sites..the whole difference is: On a first meeting with a lady
she's attired in a dress, skirt with nice blouse, long socks & heels,,,-vs- here in
the USA, I've met dozens of women..and all show up in blue jeans, capri pants
or shorts w/sneakers....and yes, foreign women do take exceptional care, with
being very feminine and dressing to the "Nines' for initial introductions or meetings
however, men also show up in coat & Tie, suits, etc..and never Jeans !..Walking
down the street in Paris, Montreal, Munich, Brussels, etc..will be an enlightening
experience for both men and women.

I have dated European ladies in America, & for the most part I find they expect more respect. Now to get me in trouble, I also found them to be more in tune with the male female thing.
