	I am a pot head and I work full time. I dont steal for it, nor do I hurt anyone. I use it to help calm down my mental issues. Its cheaper than the pills doctors want me on and its much safer. Larry

	Wing_Zero_75,I am a pot head I guess using drugs for Medicinal reasons is an accepted practice Medicinal reasons are Medicinal reasons nobody can say anything except: get well The problem is the people who use drugs for Recreational reasons Recreational reasons will turn eventually into addiction

	Recreational reasons will turn eventually into addiction I dont believe that, people have "free will" and they can pick and choose what they want to do and when, because they allow substances to rule their lives is weak hence why they lose everything. I am not a saint and have done my fair share however, I now choose NOT to and except for drinking which I like to do or so thought I did until lately (just isnt the same anymore).....but, I do believe in using for medicinal value to some extent, it is like anything those that think they can either cash in or get for free will take advantage of some things making it bad for those that truly need.

	I do agree the problem with some Drugs is once it is used the brain will not give it up That is fair but than do you also believe that some or most that are on drugs have "addictive personalities"? I personally think that is a crutch or a way for blaming their behavior on something more than themselves.

	The biggest culprit of drug use in the US is the US government.. They are one of the biggest suppliers of illegal drugs.. .. It finances many US organizations.. The court system.. the jails and the DEA... wiping out drugs would put a lot of people within the government legal system out of business.. it would hurt the economy even more.. something to think about...

	IRANGATE How much does US spend per year on combatting drugs? Did that stop the flow ? On TV the had a program that said something about a highway It starts in Mexico and ends up in Atlanta

	Heres my take on this......first of all...ive smoked my weight in herb......back then...it was the thing to do......it was cheap to buy....and all my friends did it.....now when a few of them started dropping acid....or doing pills.....thats where i drawed the line......just watching them made me realize that it wasnt for me.....every now and then...i still smoke it......but in todays world.....its looked down on......and im not sure what would happen if you were drug tested and came out positive.....what one does on their own time should be only your business......but we all know better.....but ive always known...there are those that can do this....and still function.....and those that take it too far.......to each...their own.........cookie

	Best way to fight drugs is to legalize them. That would put the illegal drug dealers out of business because it would make drugs easily available and cheap. It might not stop drug addicts from taking them, but it would almost immediately stop everybody else from having to deal with the crime and costs associated with the law enforcement, court systems and prisons needed to deal with those in the sale and use. Plus it's none of the government's business what people do or don't want to put into their bodies.
