This week's terrorist attack at Fort Hood, Texas was the most deadly act of Muslim terrorism on US soil since 9/11. But President Obama -- who seems to jump to conclusions about everything else -- including incorrectly blaming Cambridge, Massachusetts police for misuse of power even after he admitted not knowing anything about the facts, doesn't seem to want to see the obvious in this case.
More people were killed at Fort Hood than in the first Muslim terrorist bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 -- and dozens more were seriously injured. President Obama's own Homeland Security Department, without any evidence or basis, warned of the dangers of our own US military personnel being recruited into radical right wing organizations to commit violent acts. His administration seems to take every opportunity to jump to absurd conclusions about those who would protect us -- the police, our military personnel -- but yet his position on this, a clear cut case of terrorism in the name of Islam that actually already DID result in a mass murder, is that we don't want to jump to any conclusions.
First hand eye witnesses and victims of the attack are alleging that Maj Nidal Malik Hasan, the Muslim terrorist who committed this atrocity, yelled the words "Allah-u-Akbar," which means "God is great," and is the chant that Muslim terrorists shout upon committing their murderous acts. Other witnesses have said that he wondered around the Army base in Muslim garb, took part in radical Muslim Web sites that promoted mass murder against non-Muslims, supported suicide bombings, repeatedly stated that he thought that the Taliban and Al Qaeda terrorists were right to fight against and kill US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, attempted to aggressively recruit other soldiers, including his own patients into Islam, and stated his sympathy and support for the enemy that his fellow soldiers were risking their lives to defend against.
Yet news reports aren't about this. They are about what a poor, put upon victim of discrimination and harassment this man was and how that tragically forced us into this "man made disaster," as the left has renamed Muslim terrorism. The news is all about how his fellow soldiers picked on him because he was a Muslim and that this, and not his own radical Muslim propensities, are what is responsible for the attack.
Let's look at this for a moment. When you read the news it says "He felt discriminated against by his military colleagues." Well DUH. If you were a member of the US military, risking your life for the cause of freedom, and some guy was always telling you that he was glad your enemy was shooting at you and killing your fellow servicemen, you think you might not be too happy having this guy around? If it were me, I would have punched this jerk right in the face if he started talking like that around me.
Then you read "He had problems with some of his patients." Again, DUH! Apparently he was aggressively proselytizing his own patients trying to recruit them into becoming Muslims. I can tell you right now, if my doctor did this to me, he would end up with more than just a few problems. This is discrimination against HIM?
The very first report I heard about this attack said that it had been officially determined that this was NOT an act of terrorism. That seems to be the trend now. Before even the most elementary facts are in, often even before they even know who the perpetrator is!, they make an official announcement that Muslim terrorism is ruled out. Nothing about this whole process gives me less confidence in the way our government handles these incidents than that.
Then the media jumps on board with the government, desperately looking for anything that would portray this act of Muslim terrorism as rather a crazed act of a single white man acting alone or, even better, in concert with some radical right organization.
Immediately after the attack I watched that ignorant jerk, Dr. Phil, and some terrorist apologist on the Larry King Show painting this guy as a member of the victim class who's tragic actions are sad, but understandable and justifiable after being put upon by years of American discrimination. The poor man was a victim of years of abuse and finally couldn't bear it anymore. It's as if the innocent people that he MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD, soldiers serving our country with selfless devotion in terrible times, didn't even exist. It made me sick to my stomach. Meanwhile, the one person on the panel, who thoughtfully even suggested that there may be more to this attack than meets the eye, that terrorism in the name of Islam should not be ruled out, was pummeled by the others and not even allowed to express his ideas. Dr. Phil (the jerk) called his ideas irresponsible and outrageous.
Apparently it's OK to jump to the conclusion that this man's acts were the result of some kind of institutionalized, systematic discrimination -- after all, America is automatically assumed to be riddled with prejudice -- but it's NOT OK to even entertain a theory that his acts might have been motivated by radical Muslim extremism.
The evidence that is emerging now is pointing more and more to the conclusion that this man was indeed motivated by radical Muslim extremism that resulted in an act of terrorism. President Obama, and the state run media that shills for him, is hoping that the story will die down with the propaganda of the initial media stories about a poor victim of institutionalized American discrimination still fresh in your mind and before the facts can turn it around to the truth: that this was the most deadly act of radical Muslim terrorism on American soil since 9/11.
God help us if we are so hell bent on avoiding the truth that we are powerless to protect ourselves against this deadly threat assisted by the forces of liberal political correctness.

PS: The Army has now confirmed that Hasan did in fact yell the words, "Allah-u-Akbar," as he fired the guns at the people around him.
If this isn't Muslim terrorism, what is?
Why was this man, after all the evidence that he was a dangerous enemy sympathizer, still serving in our military?
How many more terrorists are serving in our armed forces that the forces of political correctness are protecting?
How many more of us must die due to these insane liberal policies?
Where is the government and media outrage and investigations?
