A couple of weeks ago....i brought my moms chair home and put it in my living room perfectly aligned in front of my big screen tv.....so i moved my ottoman from my old chair in here next to my pc desk.....so now...my cat spike lays there while on on line....in fact...hes there right now.....he makes sure i take the time to pet him....if not...he reaches over with his paw and makes sure i know he wants me to.....its really funny.....how a dog guy like me can fall so head over heels in love with this cat.....from the first day we brought him home.....hes been daddies kitty.....hes always followed me around.....and ive never been able to watch tv without him being right there next to me.....ive slept with a few animals in my time.....but i draw the line when it comes to pets.....mostly because i have a water bed and he has claws......so i keep my bedroom door closed.....but every morning when spike hears my alarm go off...hes right outside my door waiting on me.....waiting to be loved on.....hes the baby of our three cats......but hes grown to be the biggest......when he was little.....Rufus...our first cat hated him......he was jellious when we brought our second cat cheabaw home...but ended up excepting her cause she was a girl kitty.....but like rufus...spike was a boy...and he ended up beating up on spike.....that is...until spike got big enough to kick his butt.....now spike rules the house.....he keeps the other two in line......every day...before i go off to work....i always tell spike that hes in charge......but i think he already knows it.....and ive seen him do some amassing things.....like in the summer......go from a dead ass sleep.....to jumping mid air and snatch a fly right out of the air....and eat it......hes our best mouser.....the other cats dont even get a chance when spike is on the job......yes spike is my cat......hes the pick of the litter.........cookie

If there are small dogs why not small cats? If only they would stay the size of a kitten I would have one. Enjoy your baby.

I never understood when people said "cats have their own personality" until I was grown and got to have one stick around for more than a year. We have one cat who is very intelligent and learns FAST. When he wants anything he will come in and nudge you, if you don't pay him the attention he thinks he needs he'll bite the back of your leg.
Our female cat lost a leg last year...(ok, don't tell me I should have looked for it...we went through hell trying to save her from the nick names) before the accident she was a royal B---ch. When we brought her home from the animal hospital she was my constant shadow being as nice and loving as I've ever seen a cat. I could swear she was thanking me for not putting her down. The once mean hateful cat is still testy with all the boy cats around here (she has 5 claws left on one back leg!) but to humans...we are GODS now

I love kitties, we had a Siamese, sweetest little girl. She would walk up my chest, give me kisses on my head. She was like your cat too, we would see her playing with these big juicer flies as we'd call them and then poof they were gone, in her mouth they went, ewwwww lol. 
You cat sounds so sweet and loving.  Animals give us such unconditional love.

Aren't pets the best,I think so.My little dog is everywhere with me.They only talk back when they want to play or want to be loved more..lol..

I love it when you are asleep on the couch (from watching TV) and you wake up to two paws batting you in the eyes as they sail over the couch, using your face for a springboard. I had one cat do it to me twice.
