our fair started last friday 09/30 ends on sunday the 9th always ten days, me my son tommy my three sisters and my youngest sister boyfriend are going tomorrow my son and i are meeting them at 12:00/pm im looking foward to it its a family tradition for us four girls my dad/mom would take us every year when we were growing up, we no longer ride the rides, we walk around exhibits,animals,shows,food  my son has been going with his ex fiancee and her two daughters for the last five years,this year she and her sister and her kids and carly kids all went on wednesday, im sure my son felt left out this time  well he has all of us to cheer him up tomorrow his mom and three aunts, and my youngest sister boyfriend at least he wont be the only guy  my son is going to be taking some pics i will post them sometime this weekend,looking foward for a fun day at the fair, the weather is going to be awesome high 74 and sunny

Ohhhh, I just love the fair. It brings back a lot of memories when we were kids. I don't ride anything either, never could because I always get sick. But I love to see my 12 yr old nephew ride. He rides everything. He loves heights. I can't wait until the State Fair comes to Raleigh. We go every year.

I use to love coasters, but hated the spinning things....blech!

The North Carolina State Fair is going to open in Raleigh on October 13. Y'all come down and enjoy yourselves.

I went to the Comal County Fair last year. It was so much fun! Rides are too expensive but if you stick to admission, abit of fair food and bring your own drink, it's not too much to go!
