today has been a wonderful day, i clean 20 cottages a week all 20 of my residents gave me christmas cards  i gave them one to  today was special, my 7:30/am cottage mrs lineburger she gave me a box of whitmans chocolates  also a coffee mug double insulated  and a christmas card i opened it and inside was 40 dollars i started crying  she said dont cry paula you are good to me and its also from toby her dog she says he likes you to, and that you have such a wonderful sense of humor  and you are always sending me the funniest emails she said you always do a good job in my cottage, she dont have a lot of time to keep it clean like she wants to, her husband smitty is in health care she is there everyday with him  she is age 83 smitty had a stroke two yrs ago they moved from wilmington sc here to winston salem nc, they bought one of salemtowne cottages, where i work, he hasnt even got to live in it her sons have brought him to it a few times, she is one of the strongest elderly women i know of
then at my 12:00 cleaning mrs mchiver she gave me a card had 10:00 inside wow that was 50:00 in one day then my last cottage mrs groce gave me a card and a tin full of home made cookies today has been great
