While we have over the last few months followed Robert Mueller as he asked a grand jury to subpoena documents relevant to the work of Mike Flynn for foreign governments, including Russia; had a judge issue a no-knock warrant for the Alexandria, VA home of Paul Manafort; and seen him interview countless individuals relevant to the firing of James Comey and possible collusion of the Trump campaign with Russia, today CNN and Reuters are reporting that the federal grand jury has approved the first set of charges in the investigation. The charges are currently under a judge's seal, but the first of possibly several arrests is due on Monday.

It may be a very long weekend.

Knowledge of the possible arrests of individuals close to the Trump campaign could explain the all out effort of the last week to discredit Mueller and link him to fictitious charges he either helped the Clinton Foundation pocket millions from a sale of uranium to the Russians to the involvement of the Clinton campaign with the Steele dossier. Tonight, we now know that the entity who hired DPS was in fact the "news" organization who has claimed the loudest the Clinton campaign was behind the Steele dossier.

Today we learned, the Washington Free Beacon, a conservative "news" website funded by NY hedge fund billionaire, Paul Singer, hired Fusion GPS in 2015 to dig up the dirt on prospective Republican nominees, including Trump. The Washington Free Beacon stopped paying for damaging info on Trump in late spring of 2016, when it became obvious that Trump had secured the nomination. After than Fusion GPS sold its opposition research on Trump to the Clinton campaign, which by the way is totally legal.

What is not legal is meeting with an agent of the Kremlin to discuss "dirt" on your political opponent. What is not legal is the data mining firm under contract with the Trump campaign contacting WikiLeaks and asking Julian Assange for the DNC hacks as Cambridge Analytics did in the summer of 2016.

We all knew Mueller would do his job. He's not given many public announcements, which has driven his opposition simply crazy.

a well deserved bump to the top...

the republican party is now in full damage control....

even Nikki Haley is saying "no" to trump..
why this is important is that the sec of state job seems to be becoming vacant soon...

seems even Tillerson is thinking about jumping ship..( after saying that moderate Afghanistan terrorists Talibans should be allowed to be part of their government...

remember this.... we shrub ..went to war there for a pipeline...

This summer, Congress passed by overwhelming margins legislation to increase sanctions on the Russians as well as the North Koreans and the Venezuelans. Trump signed the bill, fearing he'd have his first veto override. The deadline for implementation has come and gone and not only has the Administration failed to meet the deadline, Rex Tillerson has scrapped the office within the Department of State charged with implementing sanctions.

The only reason Tillerson took the job at State was to ensure the sanctions were lifted and Exxon could proceed with the giant contact it sign with Russia just before the sanctions went it place. It was never about Rex Tillerson's patriotic duty to the US.

I still say...RICO is in ( or should be in) ..play.. here...

Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act
The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, commonly referred to as the RICO Act or simply RICO, is a United States federal law that provides for extended criminal penalties and a civil cause of action for acts performed as part of an ongoing criminal organization.

and IF... trump is involved...

so is treason...(my opinion.... which may be ..wrong)

RICO convictions are very hard to make. Obstruction will probably be in play. Martha Stewart was never convicted of insider trading, she was convicted of obstruction.

We have seen transcript after transcript of Trump lying to attorneys in civil depositions. No doubt, he has passed this trait along to his morally bankrupt children. Should one of them play fast and loose with the truth in an appearance before a grand jury, that is a felony. A big one.

The indictment and arrest on Monday -- whether it's Manafort or Mike Flynn -- will be the beginning, not the end. Mueller's investigation will not end Monday, heck he was still staffing up in September. It will go well into 2018.

the question remains...

when will republicans in congress....wake up.. and impeach trump?

should a guy who is behind this mess be allowed to continue to run the country?
remember this...

HE hired these people....so the buck should stop with him...not stop short of him....

It can't simply be about the tax bill, because surely Pence would sign that monstrosity into law.

It must be the fear that Trump Republicans would sit out the 2018 elections in a giant snit fit, and no measure of gerrymandering would be able to withstand that!

Roger Stone's Twitter account has been permanently suspended due to his late Friday night personal rants on CNN Anchors. He violated the company’s policy against harassment and intimidation.

So who's next??
