Today has been the culmination of a wonderfully long weekend for me. My home has been filled with the kinship of good and caring friends. There is something so uplifting about spending time with friends that are so near and dear to your heart. As darkness falls tonight and the sky explodes in a fountain of lights and colors, I will be looking at the faces of those who surround me. I will watch the delight in the eyes of others as they watch the fireworks light up the night. There is nothing more satisfying then observing the happiness in others. Many will forget why we celebrate today and the struggles of our forefathers to bring us to the place we are today. Regardless its the traditions we share annually on this day with friends and family that unite us as one forever after. god bless America and God bless all of you.
