Well, Science has overwhelmingly determined that the more masculine a person is, the more testosterone he or she has in their body and that at conception and during childhood their future occupations can be determined by the path of the right or left brain being developed and as to how much estrogene or testosterone is being pumped into their bloodstream which causes it. In other words our propensities as to our future are developed at birth and even as early as conception in this way..
Testosterone causes our ring fingers to grow longer than our index fingers, without fail. In fact, if a person's ring finger is the same length as their index finger, she (or he) is and will always be (definitely) more feminine. Even in professional sports it is found to be 100% true, including women's sports and championships. A recent study following a previous more basic study was affirmed to show that this is completely true. The same thing applies to men and their extra testosterone when their ring finger is slightly longer, or longer than, their index finger. My ring finger is roughly 1/2 inch longer than my index finger, and that may well account for my lack of reverse when people get in my face or get too pushy with me, especially when it comes to obnoxious or boistrous males. It also accounts for my natural inclination to be an extreme independent and to prefer more masculine sports and activities than say football, or baseball, or other "team" sports. I've known about this for some time now, but the recent studies comfirm the (my) records. Wow! My ring finger is decidedly longer than my index finger. That explains why I have always been more in touch with my masculine than my feminine. And I guess all that testosterone makes me horny all the time. I sure wish I had known about this at a younger age.

OMG,,my ring finger is decidely long than my index finger,,I guess that's why one of my passions is football,,and why watching the game I'm screaming, "Break his kneecaps, kill 'im!" Plus the older I get the stronger my libido..alas,,it's that finger magic!!

Lacyvsq, That is surely verying interesting, my ring finger is between 1/8 and 1/4th inch longer. I am a very strong woman in that I can do whatever it takes and have my entire adult life. I learned to change a tire once in high school, but have I ever used that, of course not, it would break my nails, LOL. Being a triple Pisces, sun, moon and rising, for those that do not understand this, I think I am also very feminine is a strong way. I am certainly not a weak woman but I can use that blonde attitude to get what I want done. Hey, it has worked against me all my life, so finally after some thought I said why not, just develop it to the point men fall over themselves to help me. It only works if there are actual Men around, LOL..But the older we get, we have to use all the resourses available to us.
I think my ring finger is long enough, no lack of sexual drive or any other drive for that matter!

OK this makes no sense to me.. My ring finger is shorter than my index and I was the one under the car with my dad and worked as a welder's helper in my youth as well as captaining a shrimp boat, learning how to weld and generally am attracted to more physical male dominated fields of work.. I am also a strong do it myself woman and have done a lot of my own stuff around the house such as pulling up the toilet and repairing things that need it.. I have changed radiators, water pumps and other things on cars before they became too complicated to do so.. I have changed my own tires on cars and have done so for others also.. So hummmm Perhaps this only applies to sports LOL as I do not watch those I do like the Kentucky Derby and that is about it.. Smile.. So much for that....

I read that blog too (is it still there, I wonder?). I had read several articles about these studies on index/ring finger length when they first started coming out, some months ago. Some of the other findings are pretty interesting too:
People with longer ring fingers (remember, all of these findings are generalized--i.e., not true for everyone):
(1) are more fertile
(2) have higher lifetime reproductive success
(3) are more aggressive and assertive
(4) have a greater proclivity toward homosexuality/bisexuality
(5) are more likely to be participating in organized sports
Interesting stuff, no?
