The main purpose of this list is to protect the members of my online community, as well as other people who use online dating services, from fraud and scam, to inform them about the horrible situation with scams in the online dating world, to put them on alert if a scammer contacts them and to prevent them from contacting scammers themselves.

In the last 500+ days I've received approximately 4,000 emails from phony "women" aged 19-30 years old wanting "romance" from me, an old goat. Mostly they are scammers from Ghana. I've also gotten roughly 300 outright money scammers from Ghana, and other African places too. .

Why doesn't the establishment limit Ghanese from the site? And How on earth can someone who can't spell or read English be able to scam a American anyway? Doesn't it seem like someone would have to be fairly stupid to give up their bank account numbers to someone who claims to be privy to $356,000,000,000?

Thanks for this!!!! I visited the website and found two that had contacted me before. Fortunately - I was able to feel that "woman's intuition" and had not responded back to them - but it is great to see that someone has identified these scammers! Kudos to you for sharing it with us!

I got tagged with one on MySpace...Very crafty...But not crafty enough....I spotted the bull---- right away. Sometimes their stories are convincing but there's always one flaw....A good thing to look out for in any internet relation is vocal accents...If someone says they're from a certain place, they're gonna' sound like it. Mine said she was from the states, boston originally....Things were't adding up....so I opted for a phone conversation....I know a Boston accent...this was NOT a Boston accent....

I don't get junk mail on this site....In fact this site is really good about that.

But yeah...keep your eyes and ears opened....Trust your instincts...and never let your guard down until you know the person is who they say they are.
