I totaled my boss's Plush '04 VW Jetta. Last Wednesday I was taking a client home so that I could take pictures of her house, so took my boss's car instead since it's so much nicer.
She lives way out in the country with lots of curvy hilly gravel roads. On my way back to work I slid in the gravel on a hill, lost control, missed the curve at the bottom, flew over a ravine, hit an embankment, flew over it and landed in a corn field.
The car is pretty much trashed; although, they are going to try to fix it. I don't see why - it will never run right again after that lol. I, on the other hand only suffered air bag injuries, so I'm going to be fine.
I even had the precense of mind to dig inside the smoking car with my bloody hands for the camera that had my pictures on it lol Hey... whatever it takes to get the job done

your boss my disagree... but as long as you are okay .. no broken bones or internal damage... thats all that matters.. thats what we pay insurance for

Glad you're ok Lee.... but I did read something about bloody hands! Sounded like quite an accident! I hope you went to the doctor and got checked over. Cars can easily be replaced or fixed.... people can't!

Lee.. I am happy that you were not hurt badly. I am hoping that you did, indeed, seek medical attention to make sure that nothing happened that you are unaware of. The car is replaceable, you are not...
