This was on my profile, before. I usually keep such things around and post them as, obviously, they do tell more about me and maybe from a slightly different angle than the current one:

I mean what I say and I say what I mean If I like you, I am going to tell you at some point because I do not like to be misunderstood and that is so easy to have occur. If I say "I think I could love you" it does not mean "I do love you" or "Let's get married tomorrow" or " I'm going to knife you in the shower." It means, surprsingly enough, that I think I could love you FULL STOP Then you make the next move, based on what you want to do with that information .
I do not pressure people into relationships and I will drop them if they pressure me. I do not believe in conversion or the use of cohersion as a substitute for love, empathy, honesty, and integrity.
If you want something tame, go and buy yourself a pussy from the corner store. I'm somewhat domesticated out of choice, out of a want of companionship, but I sure as hell ain't trained or broken.
I will worship as I choose, when I choose, how I choose, and if it becomes a danger to me due to anything happening ala WW II then that is also my choice and I know it going in.
All that being said, I like mostly calmness, walks, rowboats, swimming, movies, books, writing, pleasant conversation, and a variety of music.
I am inteested in marriage. But if you have not proven yourself my friend, already, I won't even consider it.
Friends do not desert friends when things get tough. Or assume they misjudged them when they thought them good. They stick with them by facts and if there are no facts then by faith.
Any woman who wants him is welcome to the man who can't be trusted for that much. I'm not in this for competition/games, but
for devotion, understanding, trust, integrity, and a sharing of life together
I always miss the people who mattered even when they no longer should.

Go back and look at everything I said that I want you to know about me. That's what I want to know about you, more or less.
Someone who is a reader, writer, and slightly bonkers but capable of not annoying too many authority figures unduly would be a deilight
