That is not really a poitical statement but more of a humorous (to me) thought, related to persons reactions to my current feelings of the day.
My primary feeling being one of dread because, once again, I was almost well, almost over this viral bugaboo and then someone brought another sick person over to spend the night.
I did not know there was a sick person in the home at first, but what I did know is that I woke up with my head more stuffy, again, and my throat sore and scratchy, again, and etc.: all the joys related to the same thing I've been suffering with since November if not earlier.
So I announced "Gotta stop letting sick people come over." and everyone is so all fire concerned for the young, usually healthy teenage girl who came over and reinfected me and that I'm somehow being selfish for complaining that she was allowed over here in that state of health.
*sigh*
It's like I say "severely weakened immune system" and it passes through one ear and out the other.
I have several court documents I need to write, all by lonesome, and file - soon. That's on top of everything that needs to be done around here and getting healthy enough to hold down a regular full time job. And I'm never going to get it done if people keep coming over and re-infecting me with something that leaves me laying in bed for weeks on end except, of course, when I have to run for the toilet.
The only reason I've been online so much the last several weeks is because when you have to run for the bathroom, it's easier to start out from a sitting position. lol.
So, it occured to me that people say Americans are too xenophobic, for whatever reasons they say such things, but right now I am wishing they were just a taddles more xenophobic and would just stay home. But, no, the gregarious ___(insert your own naughty word) have to go out visiting even when dying from something viral!
