The latter comment is for me. I kept falling asleep driving to work. Not snore, crash, drive on the wrong side of the road sleep but shaking my head, fighting the eyes and that thought of "Wow I'm here already." There are days the lack of rest catches up. It's kind of scary when you catch yourself starting to drowse... And not very safe for anyone on the road. I'll get a handle on it. Only a couple days this week so I'm getting better (Now don't go pointing out it is only Wednesday)

My valentine wish is

I've heard and read people who express sadness, lonliness etc on this holiday. Valentine's Day isn't hard for me. Maybe it helps that I am out in the boonies and not always seeing couples and romantic actions and places.

Or, maybe I have been single long enough that I can look back and see even when he (the ex) showed a little holiday romance it didn't make the rest of the year any better. I'd give up that day of being treated like a queen and loved for a month - a lifetime of real love

Valentines Day is great if it is for real, but if someone is just going though the motions, I find a preference to going on as I am.

Here is another plus. If I ever do find a special someone in my life, perhaps (hopefully) both of us have grown as people and our romance will be not a day but a life time of friendship, love and appreciation for each other. ( I don't mean perfect, only real)

I have a Valentine. Me.

There is no guess work on whether or not:

to get chocolate (NOT) - I know this probabably makes me unAmerican or something but I am not much of a chocolate candy eater

I won't be upset with myself for working late, rushing to get ready or messing up plans (didn't make any) And think how much more I will get done while everyone else is out and about and out of the way

I know I won't have an arguement with my Valentine! No hidden surprised or unreasonable expectations...

I like my Valentine and this Valentine has not let me down so far.

I also happen to agree with the guy who said he'd take his doggy out for a Valentine Celebration at McDonalds or somewhere. He was probably joking but I like it. Not the McDonalds, but getting the pooches a valentine bone or toy. They stick with me everyday, love me unconditionally and always cheer me up - They deserve a Valentine Day

Now the man who has such a problem with my rambling will reall love this one but I not only allow MY Valentine to ramble - I encourage it HA HA

Seriously, everyone, have a great day and don't let lonliness get you down. Love is all around us if we only take the time to see and appreciate.
