about myself : I believe in truth in advertising and I know I"m not perfect. Be prepared to meet a real person -not a great beauty,goddess - just another human who grows leg hair, gets ill, has to cancel plans at times, and whom passes gas with the best of them on occasion.
God is in my life, not just at times, but all day, every day. But he's not as condemnatory as you may have been led to believe. I like the teachings of the Christ and see that Jehovah's Witnesses strive to adhere to them; but I am not baptised nor have I ever been, as anything.
I am a Romantic who seeks love that is a connection of mind and spirit, sharing together, playing. The sort of love that dwells inside beyond all doubt, beyond all reason.
I speak my mind; it tends to offend people. I have a sense of humor: it tends to offend people. Many times people can't tell them apart and then it gets worse.
I don't seek those people but those who take a person at their word, who look beyond shallow things, and who want their friendships to be about more than social status or looks.
Approach me as a friend, be prepared to read what I have to say and to write something that will let me know who you are, at least over time. If you cannot do that, how will we know each other enough to see if we wish to know more off of this site?
Right now I am working on some issues with my life. I have children, I have a past - of course there is baggage! Hopefully, within the next year, many of the issues will be resolved and after that year is up I shall be more free to make plans, travel, etc.
So, for now, I am looking for people who are friendly, who wish to email and share blogs, etc. But, the sort of people who are open to there being more later, if it seems like a good idea.
I am open to possibilities and willing to alter my plans, my life, for the right man.. but I have to know him first!
about my children: Eldest, male, lives with his dad. Don't want him to and that is being worked on through the courts. He is learning disabled but already a young adult.
Second eldest is female, also a young adult and a member of this site as well. She's silly and sweet, and about model perfect in looks.
Third eldest, female, is a wannabe gangsta type, in her mid teenage years, so she's right about everything and yet still angry about it.
Youngest, boy, is at the earlier end of mid-teens and follows after Third eldest to his detriment .He is an "odd duck" indeed but hyper intelligent too. Doesn't use it, but it's there.
Mind you, they are all mostly good kids. They've done things I don't approve of, have gotten in to my stuff, have taken loose change, etc. Not perfect but we can sit and talk, read the Bible together, share things about our day. So .. mostly good.
The eldest three were all raised by their dad, against my will. Why? Because sometimes justice is not only blind but down with the flu or otherwise occupied while court is in session. They had a bad life as a result and that is related to most of the issues that are going on in my life right now and taking up most of my alleged free time.
How they fit into the grand scheme of my life is this: They are my life but I don't want them to be all of it! I do want someone to share my life with, but it would have to be someone who could at least get along well with my children and.. no, he wouldn't have to play Daddy but he would have to feel as if we were, somewhat, a family all the same.
We spend a lot of time together. I don't know how much we'll be spending later on, in a few years, when they are all adults. But for now, they are here and we are a close sort of family, in our own demented fashion.

Well, HopelesslyHopeful ... I know that you would like to meet someone that would take you for who you are ! And, you will ! Because, not only are you a sweet and caring woman ! You are romantic and beautiful !
Don't pay attention ( not that you probably do ) to what other people say about you ! They don't know you. And, those are the ones who would care even less about you ! And, they don't understand you at all !
I enjoyed reading your blogs ! So, don't you worry ( not that you are ) ! You will do just fine !
