Not too original, but here comes this blog about blogging. How can you not love it? This great opportunity to express your opinion, share ideas, find out what other people thing and so on. On a writer's point of view, let me tell you, reading those blogs - especially the ones that people are passionate about, it really let's you see into what people think, why they think that way (and those that are so off the mark and subject of everyone else you just have to  or else you will 
Blogging has got to be my very favorite thing on this site (and of course all of you who make it so interesting).
Sometimes I do get my feelings hurt, but hey it's the price of having an opinion (and I'm tough) Anyway, those times are so rare to the excitement and fun of sharing ideas and opinions with people.
I really do appreciate all of you who write the blogs that we can comment on as well as those who take the time to comment on mine. Blogging really is a community and I want to thank all of you who help make me feel a part of it.

Blogging is okay, but I feel that a BLOG should be entered no matter what the comment is. I do not feel that the originator of the BLOG should be able to censor the actual opinion of another person no matter what the consequences are. This is not giving a complete and comprehensive factual to the BLOG.
It goes hand and hand when you would like to make a comment on a woman's picture (in particular a woman's picture). If the woman allows her picture to accept comments then she should not criticize the comments (whether good or bad). It is unbelievable the comments that men make on the picture and you know they are most of the time "lying through their teeth" since they know their true comment will not be accepted.
So in closing, if you are going to place a BLOG on a site, then be able to accept all comments and have the comments accepted immediately. In this perspective you will be able to receive a clear and concise and especially an honest opinion from people.

I completely agree, gal. Writing, for me, is a major stress reliever, and seems to keep me sharp. I also love to read other blogs on M.D. Its one of the major reasons I log on every morning.
Oh- and btw- GREAT BLOG about blogging.

these are blogs and each person is allowed to control whether to add a comment or not.
if someone wants to address a topic as a discussion, then the member is invited to post the topic in our discussion forums
each member also has the privilege and choice of using email to do the same thing.
we offer many options, but also expect some personal responsibility and choices to be accepted and practiced by our members.

Forum Moderator: If you do not want realistic comments to your BLOG then do not post a BLOG. Freedom to respond to a BLOG should be totally adhered to or the person posting the BLOG should not post anything at all if they can monitor the blog and only expect totally unrealistic comments.
It is a shame that people have opinions and having different opinions is what our democracy is based on. Not a controlled environment where everything is screened and reviewed before it is posted....
