I wrote an earlier blog when I was frustrated because my radio partner was late for an assignment we had to do. But this ones on me.
We turned in the radio assignment today and for the first time in my life, I was part of an example of what a "c" assignment looks like.
Yes, I got a "c" I can't believe it. It is only a small point of the grade but I have never been an example of what is "not a good submission" and believe me, it was clear to not only us but the entire class we had to play the tape for - they were witnesses to the error of our ways.
So why is it on me? I wrote the script - sure it wasn't the original one I suggested and wanted to do but it still came from my hands. Sure the professor warned he would be hard on us for this assignment but it was still embarassing for both my partner and I.
I asked the professor to give my partner a better grade and explained the script and what we did was entirely on me, but he would not bend. He said it's not that big of a deal and pointed out (as I already knew) it is just a small percentage of the class grade.... I guess I am just frustrated because I could have and should have done much better. Sadly it is a "c" admission and yep, I am guilty for it.

No big deal,as for partner, obviously no major objections were raised before turning in the assignment,so they should be happy get the "c".It's hard to come up w/ideas,much easier to piggyback off someone elses.Beautiful dog by the way!

I realize you obviously like to excel, but some SMART person told me this in Nursing school~~"C"=RN....there were many times I made As & Bs, but if my kid was up all night sick or I was just beat from also working fulltime on the weekends, the occasional "C"still=RN. I graduated as a RN and not one employer has EVER asked me what my grades were in Nursing school...they just want to know how SOON I can begin work. Don't beat yourself up! Do better next time!
