It's impossible to match wits with an unarmed person! Some people 'get it' and some people simply don't have the capacity. Some people, no matter how you are, will immediately decide they don't like you while the next person might decide you are the greatest thing since Albert Einstein.
Over the past few days (months) whatever... I have seen quite a few people come and go on this site. To each of you who have decided to leave MD.. I bid a kind farewell to you. From what I can see there has been some sort of feud here? Oh my, now how could that ever happen? Nope, I don't know what the rift is all about. I'm not on here very much so tend not to keep up with that kind of stuff and honestly it doesn't interest me in the least.
To those of you who will still be around MD, I bid a friendly hello. I will see you around MD from time to time.

I believe things happen for a reason. Whether it is in our control. Or beyond ... it all hapens for either for the best of us. Or in the worst. In any case, we all can move on, and just enjoy Life without the drama of other people's demised mind. And, the way they want to "judge" us !

maybe the correlation has to do with IQ? If i got the assessment totally wrong, let me know? but i think that the ones that storm off and don't return aren't really understanding the true nature anyway!

I'm not really sure... does it have anything to do with IQ? I do know that every persons life experiences and frame of reference, which shapes who they are and how they perceive things and the world around them, is different from the view others around them may have. That said, some people just don't have the capacity to understand things as I (or persons x, y or z for that matter) might see things.
While it can certainly be said that some people might be 'totally unarmed'.. maybe they just have different 'weapons'.
Okay, so if this makes any sense, the fact that I refuse to match wits (argue) with anyone who is 'unarmed' (doesn't see things they way I do), merely implies that I don't care to argue or get in the middle of any of it.
This could possibly be an interesting topic for a good debate. Any takers?

I don't know that is has as much to do with "wits" as much as it is does "maturity". There are some much older people here that should honestly have more maturity, class and integrity than they do and every day some of them go out of their way to prove to the rest of us that they are completely incapable of possessing said qualities...
It's a shame...to see such intolerance from "adults"...(shrugs)

People come in all shapes, sizes and mental size as well.. I believe in a good debate..I don't comprimise with a person just to look favorable be it a woman especially.. Nothing is more constructive than a debate to bring out the facts and give us all other sources to ponder...Bush and his fellow idiots in washington have told so many what they believe they "want" to hear and as a result where are we now? In a god forsaken country where our young kids are being killed, scared for life..A lot of people want to get along and go with the flow..You know the type they are know as yes people... I won't comprimise my opinions for anyone..Sometimes I seem radical yes but then I am a radical..I have long hair, I am a musician, I like people who don't have this "straight, boring way about them..I like people who stand out from the masses and are proud to be a true individual...So many people are like in a big herd of cattle...They go to the trough, stick their heads in the feeders and then mosey back to the barn.Yuch that is not living that is existing..
