I have to admit, I slept most of the time I was down there. I was physically and emotionally exhausted, but did find time to hang out and visit with my daughter and my sis, who came to Nashville, instead of us staying at her house 1 1/2 hours away from Nashville.
The baby was very crabby most of the time he was awake, he was teething. His Mom
found it VERY hard to leave him on Friday morning when they left for Florida. He ended up cutting his 1st tooth on Tuesday morning, his 7 mth birthday. I had to have his Mom and her bf's family cut their vacation short, because we just couldn't settle his little self down, or make him happy in any way. He kept looking at his Mommy's and Cianna's pic on the wall and saying, "mama," and then screaming and crying.
He was here yesterday, and he's his happy little self again!!
Matt and I decided to start out Monday night to come home, but we were talked out of it by my sis, because of my back hurting so bad, and running low on meds. She ended up taking me to urgent care, and they gave me a steriod shot, and a shot of morphine, and 10 pills to get me home Tuesday.
Saturday afternoon, I mustered up enough energy to shower, put my face on, and ride downtown w/ Cianna and Matt and the baby, and Cianna's new Boxer puppy, Keirra...sounds like Carah's name, my daughters...LOL
We were downtown for about 2 hrs and Jadyn got fussy, so we stopped at one of our friends homes, so I could see him while I was down there. (he races cars)
Cianna cooked supper for us Sunday night. It was delicious.
I'm amazed at how much she's grown up in the last few mths. Her bf is very nice too. He's very much in love w/ Cianna he told me. I hope it works out for them both. They make a very cute couple. She's lost so much weight since she's been down there though, it worries me. But, I know she's safe now. I know she's happy.
Funny how I just took her my other computer tower, and mine takes a poop 
Must be Jason's way of playing a joke on me...lol
Matt and I made the long 12 hr trip home Tues in 11 1/2 hrs. We stopped only long enough to fuel up and stretch.
I had a panic attack on the way down there, thankfully Matt knew what med to give me, and my sis and Cianna talked me through it on the phone in Illinois.
A semi with a load of tractors met us on the interstate, and it kinda freaked me out!!
It's a good thing we left Tuesday morning, as WI got dumped on with a big storm. Madison and Milwaukee getting up to 12 inches. We would have driven right
All in all....the time I did get to spend with my oldest baby was PRICELESS...and my sis too.
If she called me today and asked me to come back down to pick her up and bring her home....I'd do it in a heartbeat...pain be damned....
My short vacation was WONDERFUL.....I loved spending it with my daughter, son, grandson, sis, and daugters b/f.
