Thoughts and observations.......

If the mouse fits your hand, click it. If the mouse doesn't fit, stick it in your mouth.

It’s okay to love someone you’ve never met. It can be inspiring to know that somewhere out there, there IS someone who has forever touched your heart and you there’s. These meetings of the mind and heart can leave impressions that can last a lifetime.

No matter where you go in life or the INTERNET, there will always be rules. If you don't like the rules or you think they are bad, then work within the rules to change them. If you can't change them, be patient or consider that maybe it is you who needs to change…..or move to a new site. We’ve all seen how working within the rules here at MD can make it a better place to come to.

Diplomacy is the ability to bite your tongue and yet still type nice things -- and even smile -- while doing so...

Never say never... as in, "I would never do that!" You really don't know what you might do when faced with a different set of circumstances.. Until you walk a mile in another person's shoes, so to speak. If you are smug and feel that you might NEVER do something that another person has done, you may find yourself in similar circumstances, doing EXACTLY what that person has done -- or something you may have previously thought was worse!

Bad things happen to people who do bad things to other people. If you always try to do good things, those things will come back to you also. That's not to say that bad things don't happen to good people, and good things don't happen to bad people. However, it all evens out in the end.

Heaven and hell do exist, but I believe they will be exactly what you believe they will be. And here, we have the ability to create both if we choose. Choose the first over the latter.

Spiritual bonds made via the INTERNET never go away.

Beware!!! Sincerity can be deceiving…get to know someone before you trust their intentions and their words. Read, read…..and read between their lines…

Be as courteous to strangers you meet on the INTERNET as you would to those you love….it amazes me how rude people can be just because they don’t know someone personally. On the other hand…some people treat strangers better than they do the ones they love……….

If you treat others with respect, then, for the most part, you will be treated with respect. Jesus said, "Love One Another". Gee, that pretty much encompasses everything, don't you think?

Never chop all the trees down just because you can't see the forest for the trees. How often does that happen here?

For some reason, your accomplishments will never seem as great to other people as they do to you -- unless it's your mother. Don’t be disappointment by others reactions to your thoughts…..or their lack of reaction.

When you are tempted to say something really mean and nasty and hurtful to someone, whether that person be a stranger or someone you love, ask yourself, "What if this was the last thing I ever got to say to them?" You never know what might happen later today, or tomorrow, or next week. We never know how our words could affect someone else’s future.

Sometimes, being invisible can be peaceful...

Most things are not worth getting angry over. That doesn't stop us from getting angry. We need to remember, though, that our anger doesn't usually bother the person we are angry at. It only bothers us.

Don't let other people hurt your feelings. They may or may not mean to hurt your feelings when they say something thoughtless. If they mean to hurt your feelings, then don't give them the satisfaction. If they don't mean to, well, it doesn't really matter then, does it?

If you don't stick up for yourself, there's a good chance that no one else will either.

Never give up on life, love or friendship, there is always hope somewhere, all you have to do is find it sometimes. Reach out and touch someone.

Always have a roll of paper towels handy in case you spill coffee on your keyboard.

Remember that when you are reacting to someone’s remarks in blogs, the forums or emails………saying something out loud to yourself isn’t the same thing as typing the words and pushing ‘send’ or ‘post’.

People do not like someone who is constantly: Sarcastic, rude, whining, feeling sorry for themselves, a smart-aleck, thinks they know it all, in the middle of a crisis at all times, a bully, condescending, a snob, easily panicked, grouchy, too sensitive, a tattle-tale, trying to get attention, unfriendly, or downright mean to other people. If people don't like you, think about it. Unless of course you enjoy be unpopular and your greatest joy in life is making other people uncomfortable and unhappy.

Pissie Ants on your keyboard? Remember the coffee you spilled, and the cookie or donut you had with it? There's a dark unchartered region beneath the KEYS you'll never reach...but the Pissie Ants will.

Reality is a state of mind. If you don't like your reality, change states or websites.

Never yell at people on the INTERNET….the volume of your voice may go up, but they will never hear you.

And yes.....you can find the 'Abbott to your Costello' online.....look at Sci and PMF......
