As some of you know, I went with a small group to Stillwater for a newspaper contest. I didn't win any writing awards this time but wasn't too disappointed as I did receive two award of excellance: Front Page Design and Interior Page Design. Of course they are awarded in the name of the newspaper and not the designer, but they were my pages and that's good enough for me 
One of our writers won a first place for her editorial so she was in a great mood as well, and our comic won second place. So as a whole, we felt pretty good about our awards.
We also attended some classes and that was pretty interesting too.
Today, Sunday, we cleared out some fence line as we have a bulldozer coming in to clear some of the property. That was a lot of fun - seriously!! 
Don't you just love sunshiny days? It really felt like spring - a little cool but once I started working it was perfect. Took off the sweatshirt, got a little bit of sunburn, but as we were working mostly in shade it's pretty minimal (and sunscreen helps, of course)!!!
Now I'm just dreading tomorrow... You know, back to the grindstone. Monday is almost here
