honestly i've been single for the longest time and every time i give it a shot, try to reopen my heart after what the army did to me (july 2004-july 2005. infantry), it's been closed and i try and open it and then they lose patience despite my affections especially cuddling, and they leave. why? I may never know!!! Also my friend in canada found out I am homeless and was like "OMG WTF! I'll get you a ticket to me! just you wait!"
Well I waited. And for what? To find out that he was a fake. He never bought the tickets, his number was fake and of all things, ive lost another friend and am left feeling how? Crappy! Honestly all i need is a good job, which im looking for, a good friend, a good place to stay, and a good woman! that's ALL i want! nothing more! oh yah. good kids in the future too! hehe -devon

You are young and strong. Things will be fine. Take things day by day. There are a lot of fakes but also a lot of good people. If you need a place then go to a shelter rather than be out on the streets. There is solutions. Swallow the pride and do what you have to do to survive

see i am at the shelter but my problem is i only have five free nights there and ive been there last night for the first night. i dont have a job so i wont have the money to pay again to stay there after saturday morning. and yes im in trouble now. this is my problem.

Lets see!!! Try to get a job anywhere, no mattet how little it is. I know it seems really hard now but there is hope. Don't give up. Check on other shelters, talk to people around you and ask for help with a job or even being a care giver. Open up to them. You will be amazed what comes out. Go to a local Church. There are so many options. I know exactly what you feel. I was homeless too after a really bad break. Try having a kid!!! That's the hardest. But we pulled through and made it. Go tot he welfare system. It sucks but that's why they are there for. To help you. Been there done that and how I think about it is this. It's only temp until I get on my feet. It's a pain in the butt but once things fall into place it's a blessing. You have a great chance. Like I said your very young and I am sure your not stupid.

The illnesses you list on your profile are major recognized psychological illnesses. If you are a veteran, is there any help available from a VA hospital? I think you need to be contacting local community mental health clinics. Have you shared these problems with the counsellor at the shelter?

trust me, i am looking however there is no counselor at the shelter here. it's a short term "drop in" shelter. Not one of the best but its a nice warm bed at least! the main problem i can never seem to get rid of is the fact that im so in need of love and yet i am alone. i know patience is key, the whole speech about how "god will bring me to one or vice versa" but honestly, patience is not in my vocabulary.

my heart breaks for ya Devon.. but you need to get your own life in order before you have something to offer a woman.. are you able to draw unemployment benefits?.. check out the jobs listed at the ESC.. temp agencies.. this time of year folks are in need of lawn care, and other seasonal jobs.. wash cars.. anything to put a few dollars in your pocket.. plus, that gets you networking and meeting folks that might be in a position to help you find a place to live . Don't give up.. but you can't expect a nice woman to come sweeping you off your feet when you have absolutely nothing to off her. Any job is better than no job right now hon..

i can try unemployment....  kinda embarrasing really. been moving around so much so fast in the last three months ive gone from arizona to california to utah to tennessee to tampa where im at now. anyways yeah. def. lookign for work like hardcore! thanks!

I would recommend to stop looking for love right now. You have too much to work on in your life without that distraction. Once you get yourself into a good place in your life then you will be ready for love. Good Luck.

Go to the Veterans Administration Immediately!........Dude you are 21...Don't worry about being embarrased one bit..Get help,..You have so much life ahead of you so don't let it slip away...Do anything to get help no matter what you might be thinking...The first step is always the hardest..After that things will get better each day..Hang in there...
