WELL IT HAS FINALLY HAPPENED. JR IS LEAVING DEI AFTER THIS SEASON. KNEW IT WAS COMING, JUST THOUGHT MAYBE TERESA WOULD WISE UP. NOW THE COMPANY SR BUILT WILL PROBABLY CRUMBLE. PRETTY SAD REALLY, HE IS PROBABLY ROLLOING OVER IN HIS GRAVE.
I SAY THIS GO FORTH AND WIN SOME CHAMPIONSHIPS JR AND SHOVE IT BACK IN HER FACE. WHERE EVER HE GOES THE JR NATION WILL FOLLOW!!! GO CAR 8 FOR THE LAST YEAR.

I am a JR fan off the race track but not on lol .... of course I am a 24 - 48 fan wooohooo. I am happy JR is leaving DEI. I don't think he could ever realize his potential there. I for one would love to see him with Childress driving a red "3" with Budweiser for the major sponsor  ..... who else feels this way. He would rock the nascar world if this happens!!!!

I do not think it is right if they let JR drive the number 3 they should never race that number again. And JR is not the only son Dale Earnhardt had he also has Kerry Earnhardt witch you might have never heard of Kerry seeing as how the whole DEI Team has never given him a chace

I agree bub,,, Dale Jr is all DEI. His dad my idol...would not behappy. But i think Jr has such a folowing..where ever he goes..that team will gain HUGE. And he islike his dad.. Gonna do it his way.!!! Go Junebug..!!!!!!

JR is ok but i really like his team he is building up JR MotorSports just think his team need to really think it throw when they sign on drivers they should have Martin Truex Jr driving for them in the number 88 ride in Busch Series Truex knows how to get in done in Busch and he has 2 back to back Championships in that Series in 2004 and 2005. But my all time favorite is TONY STEWART i think it could be CooL is Dale JR joined Joe Gibbs Racing with them just having Stewart and Earnahrdt JR they would have a very powerfull team and ALOT of money in sale of people backing both drivers

Well, Jr's comments this past weekend about not knowing anything about the deal to buy Yates and move to Fords make sense now. The bigger loss for DEI (or is it TEI now?) will be Bud (I know nothing has been said, but Bud has invested a lot in Dale Jr, so it would be hard to imagine them sticking with DEI). That's a multi-million dollar loss, and as we all know, those stickers on the car are what really makes them go. I don't see DEI being competitive without those dollars flowing in from Bud any longer. Jr won't be going to JGR unless they change their stance on accepting alcoholic beverage sponsors, and Hendrick would have to do some major re-organizing as well as putting up with 3 #1 driver egos in the same building. (Jeffy and Jimmy have already skirmished) I don't think Ginn is for real without Martin, and other teams like HoF aren't ready to contend, so that only leaves one real Chevy possibility: RCR. He'll finally get to drive for a "hands-on" owner who wants to win badly. He'll be on the same team as Harvick, Burton, two drivers he respects and loves to race with. The 3 car is going to be up to him, but he didn't sound to comfortable with the idea... maybe the 33?

You know this is crazy thinking like this but what if and keyword being "IF" DEI got someone real good to take Jr's place and that guy done everything Jr hasn't been able to do suck as winning the Rookie of the Year, Brickyard 400 and the Championship. Now i am not saying this to sound like i am against Jr but that would be wild if that happen

dude i wasn't bashing Jr i was meaning i KNOW that Jr didn't win the Rookie of the Year BELIVE me i was for Jr over Kenseth in that cause i have NEVER liked Kenseth. What i was saying is when DEI picks up a new driver to take Jr's place next season what would happen if that guy won the Rookie of the Year and everything Jr didn't win

personally, I'm with hendricks (don't shoot me) ... but I feel for jr (hey ... he drove a hendricks car a few weeks ago when dopey left too early)
so far, I think he's a class act and wish him the best (in 3rd place of course after Jeff & Jimmy)

Thanks for sending a shout out for Jr......I just think that it is going to be interesting to see what happens with the pretty boys at Henderick to meet up with a real drive , old school boy. I just hope that Jr does not change. I don't think he will.....I miss the good old days! Ya know, Back in the day!
It makes me sad to think that what was created by Dale Sr. to benefit his kids is nat a reality. I know Teresa is a business woman and she is smart but I remember a interview with Sr. He was talking about leaving something to his kids.....sad
