Women, in a nation "under God" were equal from the beginning - it was a dire lack of listening to God that caused the misunderstanding, in fact; for we all know the man what drafted the document could spell!
"men" are people with penises, Men are the race. And what does God say about Men? :
(Genesis 5:1-2) 5 This is the book of Adamâs history. In the day of Godâs creating Adam he made him in the likeness of God. 2 Male and female he created them. After that he blessed them and called their name Man in the day of their being created.
He called who what? He called their name Man. The word for woman, in Hebrew means, literal translation into English : female Man. Women are Men, as Adam and Eve (the first woman) were both called Man; and therefore if all Men are created equal, all women are already equal and anyone who denies them equal pay, equal protection under the law is a criminal, not just against the woman or women but against the government of the United States and the laws thereof.
Of course .. I guess if you don't believe in God or you are so prejudiced against the Jews that you will not take into consideration the meaning of their words, then you are still, basically, screwed lady .. because, really, that's the only leg to stand on, that I've ever seen, as proof that men and women are basically the same. And funnily enough, that comes from the book that so many women reject as being prejudiced against women.
