The subject at hand was Oxymorons particularly related to American-English; but the questions were regarding today's sensitive male and is he an oxymoron, a myth, or a moron.
Posting my comment here as I doubt it will be posted elsewhere, for reasons beyond either my control or understanding.
"So foul and fair a day I have not seen!" William Shakespeare, Macbeth, Act I, Scene III
"O anything of nothing first create! / O heavy lightness, serious vanity! / Misshapen chaos of well-seeming forms! / Feather of lead, bright smoke, cold fire, sick health!" William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, Act 1, Scene 1
"Do that good mischief which may make this island thine own forever..." William Shakespeare, "The Tempest", Act 4 scene 1
Yes, how awful that American English is, then!
Today's sensitive male is an utter lie because when they say "today's sensitive male" what they mean is some man who is politically correct and afraid to voice his real opinion or act like a man. Therefore he is not a man, by half. Real men are already sensitive, but still men, not having swung to either extreme in much the same way that real women are neither play acting the porn star or the bull dyke.
