It is amazing how advanced you can get by getting to know one first online, then by phone, so when you do meet, it's like you already know the person, For me, it was like I've known most of my life. As long as both parties are being upfront from the begining, then the first meeting should tell all! The other man was obviously still playing around or looking for "something better". What a putz! I wish you well

Rejection from either party is just part of finding the right person.
When you are rejected it is not really about who you are or your worth, it is the other person projecting onto you what they want, if they don't see it they move on.

Cars...sometimes you have to go through a lot of bad apples until you find one with the perfect taste, feel and very little bruising. (apple analogies, go figure) It's important to not give up....and never settle for second best. You deserve what is perfect for you.....hell, some people like soft apples...some like em firm....myself...I like my apples juicy.  What the hell that has to do with men and dating...I don't know....

Yep, there are many that have to deal with rejection, but as other have said it's not worth dwelling on. I wish you the best in your search...
On a side note; I've always found it interesting, in this age of equality, that most women won't make the first move because they fear rejection. I hope more will consider what they can potentially gain if they do take that first step...

had you ever met this man face to face?.. did you consider this "relaionship" as exclusive? my thought is if you have never really dated, then you haven't been dumped. it's not that this other woman was better than you hon.. maybe, she was just differnt from you.. there are plenty of other great guys out there in MD land.. just have to keep an open mind hon..
