It's not really often that I voice my opinion on how others behave and act. To be honest, I have enough problems in my own life without worrying about how others are carrying on. However, given the fact it's hard enough to meet and develop meaningful relationships with women here online, I believe a few words need to be conveyed.
Recently, a female friend e-mailed me and said, "gee, I hope you don't turn out to be a Jackass like some of the guys I've met here." She went on to say "that sooooo far you have been alright." By the way she said this, I could tell that by the actions of one or more idiots, her confidence in our own friendship had been put in question.
I think I know what this young lady was talking about. Gentlemen, when a woman replies to your e-mail or thanks you for a comment on her blog, it doesn't mean she is wanting you or even interested in you. It means she is being polite by not ignoring you and she is thanking you for your time and participation. For god sakes, get out of your fantasy world and stop harassing them. Some of you are simply borderline obcessive.
Some men on this site, draw the conclusion that any attention at all from a woman means there is a romantic interest on her part. If for some reason she doesn't respond to your continued comments or e-mails it means she feels she has done her part to be courteous and probably wants you to leave her alone. Please don't write these women back with rude or degrading messages, because they choose not to correspond with you.  Notice I said please. This only makes it more difficult for the rest of us to make friends and gain trust.
If this blog in any way offended you, then chances are, you're who I'm talking too.

How can these women write you comparing you to others they have dated? That is ridiculous, we are all separate individuals. My guess is that you don't need to date the women that call men jackasses, you need someone who is more tolerant of others feelings, someone who is kind. You seem like quite the gentlemen, you deserve a lady who is refined, intelligent, who appreciates you for you.

Thanks so very much for the blog, I always felt that a true gentlemen would not have to be reminded. Myself, I do try to be polite to all that write, for many times when I post something on a blog, it just simply is my input to what they wrote. Sometimes we see things the same, and sometimes differently, but I believe there are many angle to which to view someones words they write.
Myself, I know it is not polite to refer to men,or women in general, seeing as how we are individuals with thoughts. Sometimes they are well thought out, and sometimes not so much (meaning we cannot always think well enough to protect ourselves from the many angles to which a person views our writings).
It is good you and the lady could speak of it, and it be understood....this is a total break though for communications, and I hope things continue on that path for the two of you.

wolf you get my kudos.....this actually happened twice this week. I responded initially to an email and when i did not responded again quick enough, i got called a few choice names  I think this is so unfair, and coming from a man i hope the offenders will take a good look at themselves and realize there are some very decent women on this site that deserve to be treated with kindness. what would their mamas say? lol   yay for you
