I feel so bad for all the people in the flooded areas that have their homes ruined.
I watch it on tv in horror, I wish I was able to help them. It is really sad to hear that in one part of the country people have lost everything because of fire and in another because of water. I am blessed that I have my girls my home and that I am dry and able to get out of my driveway and to go places.
I have noticed that the rain has caused our foundation not to be like it was when they first moved the home in so income tax time I will need to have it checked and we have lost ground but I am so lucky that it isn't worse than that.
I pray that the rain will stop long enough so that the water will subside and they can begin to try and piece back their lives.
For me it is irony that I am waiting for the water from the sky to stop and my yard to dry out so a man can come and start clear wonderful well water running into my home.
I hope all of our MD friends are ok and will make it through this without loss.
In a perfect world even the rain would come with an on and off switch.
