I know that there is another blog by this name that was submitted this morning and I ahve attempted to post a comment there but with no success, I thought it was important to let everyone know that the report that is referenced in the blog is "FALSE". If you wish to check it out you can visit http://www.snopes.com and do a search on the word michigan. You will find that this has been going around since sometime in 2006 and the information is incorrect.
This world is scary enough with real things and I do not feelt hat we need to invent new stuff or circulate untrue stories so try to check things out before I post or forward. The snopes site is one of the best places and is kept very current on what is being circulated around the net.
I do thank the original poster but suggest that you check out this kind of stuff no matter who you hear the information from.

You are so right...it is scary enough without posting these false alarms. Here on MD, we really do need to check these things out on Snopes before posting.

Good post, another to check on would be the one that goes to your E-mail, warning of a new virus that wipes out your zero sector, They encourage you to forward it to all your freinds, So all the E-mails keep piling up in the forwad section, these are collected, and used for spamming

It's a shame more in the forums don't use snopes before quoting Paul Harvey. 
To be honest, I never heard of snopes before I came to this site.

Yup, snopes works for me, too. I also check with truthorfiction. My blogs are all my original thoughts, so I don't worry about it, but, I'm very busy sending the info to my friends who insist on forwarding stuff to me without checking on the authenticity first. I also ask them to go back and tell everyone they contacted that it was false info. Wonder if they do?
I have the sites in "My Favorites" and it only takes a minute...saves on such JUNK being sent back and forth. Thanks, graywolf, it's nice to know how many people we have "watching our backs" as we sit here.!
