I thought it was unusually warm this morning. I'm usually a little chilly in the morning. When I woke up at 5:30 AM, the thermostat said 86 degrees in my apartment. I called the Apartment Manager and she said that she would try to get someone out today. I surely hope they try hard. I may just have to sleep somewhere else.
I just got back from the gym and lunch. I get to take a shower and exit the bathroom into a hotbox. The thermostat currently reads 93 degrees. That's downstairs. The upstairs is even hotter. This place has a flat roof with no attic, so by afternoon it's pretty hot up here, even when the A/C works.
At least it started raining. I think we're getting some bands from the Tropical Depression in Texas. Hopefully, that will cool it off a little.
This is certainly one way to motivate me to spend some time in my office today instead of working from home.

yeah, it's hot here too...i hope they get your a/c fixed....my apt is on the corner so i get more heat in summer and more cold in winter....but i like it......you know, the landlord could cool coat your roof and make your second floor cooler...doesn't cost much.

I feel for ya! It's been hotter than hell here as well. We had something like 15 days of over 95 degree weather with heat index reaching over 103 each day. One day it was actually 103 degrees with a heat index of 121!!! Thought I was going to die!! I have central air, but in temps like this my house stays about 76 degrees instead of the 67 I have it set on!
I think I may move to Antartica

Poor guy!! To get out of a shower to face that kind of heat makes you want to get back in huh?

Hot here too, but thats common for Oklahoma. Triple digits, then when you figure in the humidity- 110 to 115. Yikes! We are hoping the Texas storm will help our temps as well. Hope they fix your AC soon. Sending cool iceburg thoughts your way.

They're coming back out, again, in about an hour. It's probably freon. It is currently 89 degrees in my apartment. I think I may actually be getting acclimated.
