You can now reorder your friends list! Select "reorder friends" from the friends drop down in the menu. Drag and drop them in any order you like and click the save button. Have fun!

I keep all of my friends in my favorites list. Have you guys considered providing the same amenities like the bulletin board for the favorites list? Or allowing the friends list to go public or private?

We are not going to be offering the same features for the favorites list. The main purpose of the favorites list is to "bookmark" profiles that you're interested in, etc. You can add someone to your favorites list without their permission as it's just a bookmark. Friend requests must be approved by the other person and bulletins are only displayed to people on your friends list. Things would start getting confusing if we offered multiple types of bulletins, etc. We might consider offering the ability to hide your friends list on your profile in the future.

We just now corrected a few bugs and we're in the process of reordering all friends again. If you reordered your friends you might have to go back and reorder them again. But it should be working now

I don't think it is yet working... I got my friends all back, but when i went to reorder them again -- I got 25 -- a different 25, but still only 25 of 60.

On a more serious note.......when I go to the re-order screen, it shows 3 "friends" who are not on my friends list at all. I cant see these profiles anywhere except the re-order screen, but I cant delete them from there.

Do you think re arrange might have been better....there are a couple of really hot girls on my friends list, that I have been waiting for delivery of, and now I disovering that nobody will be arriving in the mail or any other way, so there is no ordering or re-ordering of them is there?

Bad idea.
There are some members on MatchDoctor who are reluctant to accept friends because they don't want the concept of "friend" to translate into a popularity contest. I waited forever for Tunes4u and Martin666 to be my friends for exactly this reason.
IMHO, being able to re-order your friends justifies their fears. It takes a useful concept and makes it ... "high schoolish".
I know the feature isn't going to go away, but I just wanted to point out a possible reason why it's not the best idea in the world. I'm sure we don't want to justify why someone is #10 and not #5, which is kind of a natural question to ask when you can re-order your friends. There are so many awesome people on MatchDoctor. How is it possible to rank them, anyhow?

Okay, I really don't care about the friends list..... cept for sending bulletins. But as far as bulletins..... I would dearly LOVE to be able to click on some of them after several days and put them in the already old bin..... some folks NEVER delete their own bulletins.... another attention whore disorder I suppose.
Also, I have not bothered to check the friends thingy yet........ but I am so aggravated with MD in general not working well for me, maybe it is just my area.... but I have had troubles since last....... okay, not sure now, let's say last Friday. Last night I actually, finally got an error page from MD, saying it had been reported to the techs..... I had only just clicked to read a mere bulletin....... sheeh, could not get the page. Also, my most irritating problem has been that your pages were not opening and if or when they did........ not completely.
Thanks.... seems you feel the need for change. Me, I feel like if it works, don't mess with it. Which you have done and not to my approval........ (grin).

Seems to be a little glitch, people who have long canceled their profiles are still showing up on the friends list. Even with the drop and drag I found it too time consuming to "rearrange" people. I'm just leaving it.

Okay, since the troubles I am having with MD have not been addressed by someone that knows what to do about them.......

I sheryl, it gather means re arranging the order, so maybe your best friends appears first or something and can be easier to find.
I also was thrown off the word reorder!...that is why my initial comment was an attempt at humor.

It makes it alot easier to see the people you talk with most that are online and when you want to send them an email you can just click on your first page of friends(thats if your have more then 1 page) . I know you can also add into your favorites, but this re-ordering does serve a useful purpose
