Complement: 1. Completing part: Something that completes or perfects something else. 2. One of two: Either of two things that form a unit.
Compliment: 1. Statement of praise: Something said to express praise or approval.
Please notice the difference. The first is spelled with an e after the l. The second is spelled with an i.
I'm fed up with reading profiles of people looking for someone to compliment them. Wear a nice dress and pumps. I'll tell you that you look nice. Do I win a prize?

Another thing I notice even from intelligent people on here is that they spell ADVENTUROUS this way: adventerous.

The things I notice are everything spelt wrong and bad grammar or no grammar, or run-on sentences, or sentence fragments...etc. hehe

As a teacher, I have noticed that correct spelling does not always indicate intelligence - I had many brilliant students and spelling was very difficult for them. Please be careful about generalizations. I also have four boys - and the third one is highly intelligent, but if he has to spell a tough word to save his life....he's a gonner! Ha - Ha - Just my thoughts and comment - for what it's worth....

Sorry, Nightowl, but I had to laugh. I haven't noticed this one. But, uh, are you taking up the homonym lessons now?
