Is it me or has the world gone nutzzz???? lol Use to be that when a person gave their word they ment it. Your word is your bond. At lest thats what it means to me. If something horific comes up, I at least take the time to call/send a message and explain the WHY of not keeping it with amends to reschedueling.As I sit back and watch the world go by, I see more and more people of both sex's that just don't care what they say and do. I believe we're loosing the true value of the qualities in life that count more than what we own. We've become a faster paced of people and in that we've lost our roots. And this is called progress???? Yes I've rattled on so back to the subject. Giveing your word. Is it so hard to keep a promise you made to another? It seems that promises have become empty words and that to me reflects on ones inner charactor. and it's that charactor that I still look at first. I must be getting old and set in my ways cause I still to this day, do my darnest to keep my word and I don't give it out lightly. Well that's enough ranting I guess for one day. Be well all and please try to stop and think first before you say something.

Howdy,,,,, knows you are right. Very few today seem to keep their word. And if they don't, they just shrug and say "oh well". Promises are made and easily broken these days. People don't care who they hurt. Long as its convenient for them I live by the Golden Rule still. Sometimes even if I have to go out of my way, I keep the promise. I have had ladies promise to meet me, I show up and they don't, Then some excuse of "I couldn't call, forgot my phone". Or I changed my mind, doesn't that deserve makinga call even then? And age doesn't matter. So thats not the reason. Bottom lne, its not important these days to be honest...My two cents worth

Sadly you are right; integrity, honesty and keeping your word are not as important, many people are selfish,we live in a throw away society.

Quite a blog & I agree to it 100%... Technology is advancing rapidly but humanity is just as quickly losing all values in all areas.
Life is no longer respected.. Animals are being slaughtered to extinction and very few people care enough to do anything about it...
I use to think the world was a good place... I don't feel that way anymore now...Yes, there are many good people out there, but I actually think the bad ones are close to outnumbering the good people...
