You say to yourself - this is not possible ... yet, you live here in the US of A and are sheltered from truth or just plain lied to by the media and government
I really thought people were much more intelligent than this; that they would actually search for real truth, but they continue to allow it to happen: Rwanda, Serbia and perhaps Russia are the only recent countries who can identify with what happens when you ignore the signs.

While it is true that many americans are ignorant to many truths, the others think it will simply just not happen in their lifetime just as Others have, but it always happens in someone's lifetime: to continue to ignore it only makes it more strong

It is odd that governments and media outlets will often take a "reaction" and turn it into "aggression". A simple example would be: islam invaded parts of europe and the med and were killing people for 300+ years before the catholics REACTED ... and the catholics are blamed for this ... not at all am I defending catholics, in fact during part of the 3rd and especially the 4th crusades - they were WRONG. But see - because they ended wrong they were always wrong, in other's eyes

See that is the point ... radicals invade other countries (like they have systematically taken over much of africa) and when those countries react, they are somehow the aggressors

And then there is the testing period ... see, most of the time the radicals will "test the waters" before going full bore ... just like in Rwanda, only several thousand christians were killed at first. When the world did nothing, especially billy clinton the muslims slaughtered the rest of them. when the muslims bombed a couple of embassies, the world basically did nothing, not even billy. when USS Cole was in trouble, billy did NOT react: the WTC was bombed the first time, billy did nothing.
and now george is trying to REACT - but he too is actually doing little in some areas (Darfur) ...
and the far left criticize george for "reacting" ... for attempting to send a message that the US of A will not allow this behavior ESPECIALLY on our soil: but many have attempted to handcuff hium in this effort.
Many years ago politicians stuck together no matter the party
many hated LBJ, but the reps stuck by his decision for full invasion
even though jimmy carter was a horrible pres (high unemployment, high interest rates, failed to rescue hostages, implemented high taxes, etc) ... most stuck by him and gave him the respect every president deserves
Not like today: although I dislike a multitude of things bush has said or done, I find it completely radical for people to say he needs impeached ... there have been over 600 investigations and not a sinlge law was broken
I'd like to have seen those same number of investigations happen to other politicians: we might be 100 or so light in congress by now
