So I have 7 letters and they are good ones. I have places to play several good words. They are good words, fun words, interesting words, but there is a better word which will use all 7 letters and get me the bonus 50 points. I need a different letter or a new place or a more creative mind, perhaps even a broader frame of reference.
In the infamous words of the late Gilda Radner, "It's always something" Lately I have been trying to get moved back into the new unfinished house so that I can get my house rented again. I hate renting the house due to not really wanting close neighbors, but then again the income may be the only way I ever get the new house completed.
I am looking forward to the new colors of fall, yet dreading the onslaught of winter unless I can get the foundations completed on the new house units. Each year I have had frozen and broken pipes and this was the year that was to be at an end.
My mountain view is still an awesome sight but it would be even better with someone to share it with. Solitude is not without its merits, serenity being one of the most valuable, but then again... we should talk... do you play Scrabble?

My family's all-time favorite game! However, with one son teaching college journalism and another teaching high school English, I rarely win the game---go figure :-)

I love playing scrabble...anything goes of course!
Just today I took note of my Scrabble game stored on a closet shelve at my mom's. Poor thing...all covered in dust and not used in years....but I keep dragging it along with me wherever I go.
Scrabble and Monopoly were the main entertainment on weekend visits to my folks in 'my younger days of youth". Living in the the northern sticks, board games ruled after the sun went down.
Do people play board games anymore? Ahh, the laughs that can be had from 'anything' goes rules.

Sorry. I had one of the original instruction books but I sold it on ebay and found a new word when I sold it: profit.
