Well, I obviously didn't learn my lesson well enough, and a long time crush, has invited me over for dinner. Now, this is a first date, not really a date, but some friends, all couples, getting together and cooking out. I asked what I could bring, thinking, he'd say like bread or a dessert, you know something safe. Oh, no, he suggests that I bring the wine. I don't know anything about wine! I know red wine stains, and white wine is served with fish or chicken. That's as far as I got. So, do I call him back and ask what kind he would like, or just ask what he is cooking? Then I have to choose between a red, a white or a blush. Heavy or lite, sweet or robust, dry or sweet, I know that Boone's Farm is totally out of the question.....and so is a couple of four packs of Parrots Bay. Supposedly this is a black tie and dress fair.... I think I am in too deep....
