Members of Congress and the state legislatures, through wanton abuse of their authority and power, "effectually" deny citizens their right "to choose" their own representative in 90 percent and more of legislative districts in the United States, where incumbents are virtually unchallenged.
I wonder if they have they not violated the Constitution, Both the meaning and intent, by abrogating the "privileges and immunities" of the citizens of the United States
I wonder if they have they not deprived us of our political "liberty" as effectively as any dictator, king or tyrant could accomplish
I wonder if it matters that the incumbents have insured their own electoral invulnerability through guile, duplicity and manipulation, rather than force
And of course I do not wonder, but I know why they refuse to enact legislation to place term limits on themselves

I wonder if this blog would have existed 4 years ago when the republicans had congressional power. Somehow I doubt it.
But nevertheless, there do seem to be a staggering amount of career politicians from both sides. But the people still vote for them, so that's who the blame falls on, no one else.
Ohio is a fine example. Republicans had the governor's mansion for two decades. Then because of countless criminal activities, the people got fed up and changed. Now a democrat is in the governor's mansion, and his performance could decide how Ohio votes in the upcoming presidential election.

I believe that ( IMO ) ... the media is nothing more than a political and entertainment circus . And, it has many "ring leaders" to control how we see the news . They are like " Puppet Masters " always trying to pull our strings . Always trying to tell us what we "think" we want to hear , read or see . Instead , of what we need to hear, read or see .
They have been "pulling strings" for so many decades . Even today , the President and most politicians get away with alot of things . Even if they were "caught in the act", and televised all over the world . Because , they know they can "buy" the ratings . And, the media , ' like a lost dog wagging its tail ' , will fall for that .
That is why , to me , it's all about the Ratings . Never about what the American people , or any others ... should see .
Like for instance :
The War In Iraq . We seldomly ever hear the good things that are going on over there . Like some soldiers are actually helping rebuild Iraq . It isn't always that , our soldiers are harming any Iraqis , or anyone else all the time . But they know the American people will watch the negative stuff , because its NEWS .
I have read and heard very good and positive things , our Men and Women are doing over in Iraq . But we , as a whole , hardly ever see, or hear about it .
Because , they are so fuzzy and warm , and don't want to "offend anyone" !
What ? Offend anyone ? Why would you NOT want to offend the Talibans or Al Queda groups ? They deserve to be offended ! Especially , they are only out to cause Holy War against other Religions and factors . But the news don't see that They see them as one of the good guys ! ( Man , I think they all need a shrink over at the major news networks !  )
Of course , I hardly even believe the senseless crap they report . And, I cannot even stomach the fact , that news anchors like Brian Williams , and Katie Courtic are paid so much for just sitting at the news desk . And, reporting the news ! To me it is just pure PROPAGANDA !
