This is a test. It is only a test. If this had been a real emergency I would have typed it all in UPPER CASE.
The problem with living 20 miles from town is that Home Depot feels no compulsion to build a store next door to me. If they did I would probably move or just shop at Lowes anyway because Murphys Law # 943 states "The likelyhood of Home Depot not having what you need is directly proportional to the number of miles you must drive to get there"
I miss Prince Albert already. To the lady who sent the comment to my last blog that he was probably happy to be rid of me, perhaps you might be right, but I am the type to treat even my adversary better than most people treat their friends. We should all do that... get my drift?
I never wanted a cat. Prince Albert just showed up. He caused me countless problems but I always fed him gourmet cat food and never carried (or swung) him around by the tail. I never talked ugly about him to others behind his back, and I did not ever kick him for leaving dead mice and moles where I could step on them with my bare feet. Meanwhile every five lined skink which used to live around my house lost its tail. Many lost their lives. These harmless beautiful blue tailed lizards are a joy to watch but not without tails. The chipmunks that used to play outside my window are also gone. My next comment may make half the female world mad at me but I was taught from youth (by my mom) that animals belonged outside. I never knew that some people kept cats and dogs inside until I was grown. For you city dwellers I understand this more, but living in the country means that any animal living in the house but allowed outdoors will bring fleas, ticks and other varmints inside with it, and I find that disgusting. To each his own, but as for my house I draw certain lines.
