Blinkity blinkety blink
I just got a wink
There could not be much finah
than these women from China
Doesn't it tickle me pink?
Blankity Blankity blank
who have I to thank?
She sent me a note
with words she wrote
or is it just a prank?
She wants to share my life
and never bring me strife
so will I agree
on bended knee
to get the perfect wife?
I better think hard
like the wisened bard
for if I succumb
I'd be pretty dumb
she wants a green-card

This series of limericks is not intended to be racist in a negative sense. It is directed towards "motive", not character or quality of the group. The lines:
There could not be much finah
than these women from China
clearly indicate that.
Truthfully, I am sympathetic to the plight of these people. If I had a chance to leave that country after the years of oppression they have suffered I would avail myself of it also. Chinese women in particular have endured some of the most heinous types of oppression by being subjected to the practice of foot binding. By tightly wrapping the feet of young girls with cloth, Their fathers could keep their feet small (a sign of domestication and beauty) and keep them near the house. As adult women, the Chinese had very tiny feet due to this practice and also suffered severe pain and circulation problems. Some could barely walk. A Christian missionary named Gladys Alward was instrumental if helping to eliminate this custom. Stories of her courage and determination are a tribute to women of all ages.
