I posted these pictures last year. It seems appropriate to post them again today. These are far and away the most dramatic pictures of the aftermath of 9/11 I've yet to see. I didn't really appreciate the enormity of the destruction until I'd seen them.

Nothing much has changed in the last year. We're still bogged down in what's proven to be an ill conceived and badly implimented war that now can't be won, fighting for a bunch of people who can't seem to get beyond a bunch of 2000 year old tribal crap and try to fend for themselves.
But what isn't debatable is that on 9/11/2001, we were viciously attacked. How can it be that it hasn't been our govt's ONLY priority until mission accomplished (in fact apparently not even our govt's TOP priority) to bring to bear the entire might and will of our nation to hunt down and kill like the dogs they are, those DIRECTLY responsible for the death and destruction wrought upon us??
When I first saw these pictures a year ago, I asked myself how it could be that ANYONE directly responsible for what I was looking at, let alone the main instigator of it all, shouldn't have been rounded up and dealt with long ago. I still don't have an answer.
