This will probably go over like a turd on a deli trey, but oh well....
I'm possibly the only white person on the planet who isn't convinced that OJ did it. Not saying he didn't have help doing it...not saying he didn't pay someone to do it...definitely not saying he's a wonderful guy who's just so misunderstood...yeah, he's a stupid a$$hole, but I just can't see how it's physically possible he could have done it BY HIMSELF, AS THE PROSECUTION CHARGED AND FAILED MISERABLY TO PROVE. Those of you still all fired up over it, maybe you should direct your anger at who deserves it. Direct it the completely inept, totally worthless prosecutors that handled the case (yep, the glove didn't fit folks..not even close...if you're going to do a dog and pony show, you best know in advance they can bark & trot!!)...I wouldn't let Clark or Darden to do a simple will...they'd probably screw that up too!!!
For what it's worth, I remain unconvinced because there's a bunch of evidence that would seem to indicate OJ wasn't the one...or at least the only one. A couple of examples:...
Goldman had massive blunt trauma on both hands...translation: he went down swinging and got some good shots in on whoever did him....OJ had NO bruises on him when he was apprehended...
They made a big deal out of the bleeding cut on OJ's hand....anyone who played football in the 60's has cuts on their hands from the sharp, squared off corners on the old facemasks from back then...I have 4 on one hand, 3 on the other, all took stitches, and 40+ years later, one will still break open and bleed if it gets hit just right...
There are a couple of other possibilities as to what might have happened...
Maybe Goldman got busted porking the wrong guy's wife (I mean do you really think he stopped that night by just to return the sunglasses??),and that's where irate hubby caught up with him, and poor Nicole got caught up in it...
Maybe the blonde coke whore who stayed with Nicole didn't pay her bill and Nicole was mistaken for her and Goldman got it too because he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time...
And then there's that "race card" OJ's lawyers are continually blamed for playing. Yeah right!!! Had Furman simply told the truth and answered something like "Yes sir, I regret to say, I, like most everyone in this room, have used the "N" word", that would have been the end of that. But nope. Furman lied his a$$ off when asked the question, lied again when the question was repeated to him, got busted doing so, and in the process, blew not only his credibility, but whatever credibility the LA detectives, who had already botched the evidence chain pretty good, might have still had. Furman played the "race card". Blame HIM!!
Truth is a jury (of which only about 1/2 were black) heard ALL the evidence, deliberated and found him not guilty. They didn't find him innocent. They found him...I repeat...NOT GUILTY!!. I wasn't there and neither were you...I didn't do it and as far as I know, neither did you...so no one other than who did it knows for sure. And those of you who do believe he's guilty as sin and got away with murder...so freakkin what!!...it's been over and done a long time....
Don't some of you have something worthwhile that actually affects your real life to get all worked up about??...something besides every time someone rich and/or famous screws up???
Oh...OK...maybe not, huh??...

Yeah right! The only reason he got off the first time was because his attorney played the race card, as usual. They got lucky and caught Det. Mark Furman in a lie when he said that he had never in the past used the word nigger. This of course made him look like a racist, and then the defense started filling the jury with all of that planting evidence crap that never happened. Do you really believe he is innocent? Would you want Simpson dating YOUR daughter??

What does all this have to do with the jerk breaking into a hotel room at gun point with a possie and robbing a man of sports items he owned? OJ is a thug and I dont care if he did it or not he has shown he is a criminal once again. Do we just say Ah poor little guy and let him go again? Nah...burn the S.O.B. this time. At least he should get a year or two for armed robbery.

My contention for years has been that I wasn't there, I didn't see who did it, and I can't say for sure O.J. did. (If he did, it was a really STUPID thing to do. People with that much money pay other people to get their hands dirty.) All I could definitely say after the case was over was that the LA prosecutor's office utterly failed to make their case.
As for the latest uproar, with all the important things going on in the world, I could give a crap less about O.J.'s motel room brawl, Brittany's tummy, Anna Nichole's diary or ex-lovers or any of this other "celebrity" nonsensical gossip that seems to be paraded as "news."

Hey look, why do you people buy into the media and OJ thing. OJ lives on the media hype and the media does the same. So who are the stupid ones.
I like the blog. You are not the only white guy that believes that OJ did not do it.
What I would like to know is why The true life of Ron Goldman was not exposed. His family makes him out to be a little angle. I have the question of why he knew all these women so close as to their phone number and address. The question is did he skim from drugs, was he taking care of all the elite lonley women bedroom needs and did he lay one to many.
Hey these are question that were not asked or addressed.
In the end it will come down to sex and drugs,

enough already... about oj. so why did YOU bring up something that has already been decided. criminally, he is innocent,, civily, he is guilty. but hell, lets blow smoke all over something else, without mentioning it. lets start muddying the waters, so we can convict him concerning the only thing that matters now--- armed robbery. good smokescreen...

I agree - Put him behind bars - Diminish his ego - But then again, he has gotten away with murder, so what's a little armed robbery? It won't surprise me if he gets off and then I will resort back to stating - money talks and the legal system is once again flawed for celebrities and rich people. I thought OJ killed his ex and Mr. Goldman when he wore $800 gloves to do it. Standard thug would wear $25 Goretex gloves....but...this robbery? Hope he spends time in prison, but I don't think he will....sad but true. Like all of you - ENOUGH ALREADY!!! How many more laws can he break and walk free?????

Good blog....good points. I think he is a guilty SOB......he actually did it, or planned it.
On a related point, did Cynbaby, just say "OJ is Da Man"? What the hell do you mean by that? He is a piece of sh*t, pure and simple, like 75% of the "professional" ball players. I am getting really sick of professional sports, especially football and basketball, where the coaches just seem to be prejudiced and recruit only black thugs under the mistaken belief that they are the best, and pass by great white players. As an example, the USA's basketball team's loss (with that empty Lebron playing too) to European teams in the championships. That was a reality check. I choose to turn it off until they start recruiting great white players again!!!

If I recall from what I heard on the news..He was trying to get back what was originally stolen from him.He did not go about it the right way but the man who he was supposedly trying to rob is not the one who pressed charges on him.The man said he did not want to press charges on OJ.Now that makes me wonder why the man who had the things OJ had gone after, didn't want to press charges. Alive,I agree with you,he was proven innocent, the prosecutors really messed that trial up.I think there was a lot more to what had gone on here also that the people will never know.No one deserves to die the way they did,but they really never convinced the jury. I love how the so called race card is in play all the time when it suits some.It is not all about what color you are I did not know that the only ones chosen for sports are black. There are some awesome sports players who are white and black. What some do wrong, does not mean that they are all bad. There are white sports players who have done wrong also.JMO

I'm not that worried about justice for Simson in this life. There are no free lunches in spiritual law, and if you believe in karma, you know that if he is guilty, which I think he is, he has acquired much Karmic dept and as a result he is headed for a not very pleasant afterlife.

okay, my last comment on this.
I live in southern california. I have a feeling that because this was also local news, we were bombarded with everyday details even when we didn't want anymore. The reason I am bringing this up, is because of so many people that still had doubts he did it. In the news, we heard about one bungling after another of the tests. Everything was being thrown out for legal reasons, and of course simpson had the legal team that knew how important to get rid of the evidence that would have definitely have left no doubt. Still after all of this, people still think he was innocent I mean, the jury didn't have a chance to hear a lot of this and were told to disregard much of the very incriminating evidence. However, the public was not excluded from this and some still could not figure it out. This is one it dawned on me, that perahaps our local over-saturated news might have eliminated all doubt from most locals, except for those who could not handle OJ Simpson superstar being convicted even if he was guilty. You have to remember, there will always be people that idolized him so much, that they would never feel he was wrong, even if they saw kill with their own eyes. They would say they both tripped over the sharp point of the knife. Those people would be a waste of time try to convince, because they already decided no matter what, he will always be their football hero.
I wish that is the way I could remember him, but perhaps the local over-saturated news saw to it, that I did not miss a trick. I don't have the luxury of keeping him in my heroes memories, but just the over indulged ex football star who thought he owned the world. I guess for a time he did, but that ended that night and maybe it ended sooner. If you really want to be smart, you can also look at the control mentality he had, to go after what he thought was once his, and did care about the particulars, just taking direct physical action with guns. Now, tell me you find this behavior unlike the behavior of that awful night? Anyway...OJ.... enough already!!!!

I idolized OJ when he ran for USC. The first time he disappointed me was his appearance on Dragnet in the early 70's and he hasn't stopped pissin ' me off since. Talented guy. Total Asshole. If he's not guilty he certainly is doing everything he can to appear to be so. Back to the Isle of Pain for the Juice.

For the record...
I think he might have done it...I just think it's possible he didn't...there's evidence to support both positions...he wasn't found innocent of murder...he was found not guilty...there's a BIG difference between the 2, and those of you who don't know what it is might want to learn it before you go spouting off on the next insignificant news story about someone rich and/or famous messing up that comes down the pike...
Buy that's not the point of this...
Some of you need to get as fired up about things that matter in real life...things that might ACTUALLY effect you, as you do about this whole OJ thing, which I doubt directly effects any of you..
If in fact he armed robbed someone, if he's found guilty, than I hope he gets what he has coming....but everyone deserves to be considered innocent until proven guilty. Just ask 3 guys down at Duke what happens when folks are tried in the media instead of a court of law...or do some of you believe THEY got away with rape too??
Thanks to some of your comments, I rest my case....Some of you BADLY need a life...

I guess I am the only other white 'woman' that believes what you do!!! Thank you! I watched the trial, read the transcripts (love the law)! Still feel the same! Also, if you got the chance to read an Internet circulating PDF file of the book 'If I did it"....it even puts a more doubtful light on a conviction! Lisa
