No, I am not cussing at you! lol

Fucothin is the supplement I've been taking which, at first, seemed to be making a change in my waistline but now seems to have stopped.

But ...

This is what I found, after doing some more research on the subject, which is from the actual distributor:

fucoTHIN is a natural, whole food based supplement that is made with a proprietary concentration of fucoxanthin combined with pomegranate seed oil, for a patent-pending formula that is naturally thermogenic. fucoTHIN has been studied by leading scientists for many years and is the only formula that has human clinical research to confirm its thermogenic effect. *

Note: According to recent fucoxanthin research studies, the saturation point where weight loss starts occurring is approximately 5 to 6 weeks. It is important to use consistently during this saturation period, as directed, to start obtaining successful results.

So, it's a good thing I had made plans to give it a three month trial period, huh? Because one month wouldn't have been enough time!

I believe I have been taking it a full week now, as of yesterday Evening; well, give or take a day. So, around the end of October, not before the 24th, or beginning of November is when I should start seeing some of the oh so spectacular results they claim for this supplement.

Stay tuned, I guess!

Sorry! The stuff's actually named "Fucothin"? I'm a great believer, however, of that concept (the other context) for toning, not sure about weight loss though.

Yes that is really the name. The scientific name for the primary ingredient is something like fucoxathine.

If you think it's funny now, try asking your Mom if you can give her the money and will she use her credit card to order you some. Yeah right! I wrote her an email and we were only rooms away from each other at the time.

Think that if I volunteered to become poster child for ~smirk~ "Fucothin" that I'd finally get some "action" ... (and hmmmm, a tax deduction at the same time! )

(PS, I heard your mother's peals of laughter all the way up here! )

can you get it at the drug store, or GNC stores?

Honestly I don't know if you can get it at GNC or where to get it, offline, but if you tell them you're looking into brown seaweed extract and heard of this fucothin .. well, they may be able to point you to a different brand, at least.

You Get this from Dr. Mercola?

No, but he has had some very good things to say, lately, about Chlorella. I wouldn't be surprised if he mentioned Fucothin but I got the information, originally, from a magazine called Woman's World, I believe.

It is a thin, wide, almost tabloid looking magazine that sells at several of the grocery stores around this area and I used to get it in Alaska, sometimes, too.

I think I said it came from 'First' magazine originally, but it was Woman's World. I tend to get them confused as they remind me of each other, despite the fact that they are shaped differently, and they often have similar articles in them, and that includes them both being (at times) a great source of information with regards to herbal treatments, etc.

If you look up fucothin online you will find many, many links for information on it and for purchasing it. If you go the the Garden of Life site, that is where I found out that it takes up to five or six weeks for it to saturate your cells and really start on the weight loss. Still have about four weeks to go, give or take a few days, to find out how true that is.
