I know that most all of us have loved and lost, been hurt by some means or another and are leary of or affraid to show how we feel about others. So we go and "figuritively speaking" put up walls around our hearts and or so we say locks on our hearts so that we may not ever have to feel the pain and hurt that we endured in the past...
But I say the past is in the past and we must get on with our lives and live every day like it is our last.. We must put a ladder up to them walls around our hearts so that someone can climb over or give someone a hint to where the key is to their heart so they can open it up and start sharing the love, warmth and kindness that lerks within..
Everyone deserves to love and be loved, It is the next best thing that God gave us to share besides Life.......

Only good looking people are loved and respected. I am not one of those people. Never earned honesty, love, monogamy. I am only worth beating in men's eyes so I quit dating. I ended up going to school, obtaining degrees. Found happiness away from negativity. Not everyone deserves to be loved and are only worth hating, beating up and beating down.
NO I DON'T WANT PITY FROM ANYBODY I have accepted the fact that I don't look good enough, am not good enough, will never be good enough. People don't care if you pay your bills, cook good food or treat them well. They don't care. All they care about is sex, sex, trophy girl - something that looks good enough. What happened to longevity and waking up with a best friend after 50 years? That does not exist any longer. Acceptance is where I am at in life. Some folks are meant to be single forever. I am one of them. Real love does not exist and never has - I failed to earn that. Maybe in the next life I will be dealt a better set of cards I don't know, but I will continue hoping.

Before people argue - How many men will speak to an overweight woman? How many men care about a woman's personality if she's heavy or ugly? It doesn't happen. If it's not a trophy, they don't want it - anything but a trophy deserves to be beat in a man's eyes. There is no love - only bed buddies in this day and age of dating.

I agree with you and disagree with JM. What we expect in life, we get. Expect to meet abusers and that's what you'll find and ONLY that. BELIEVE that you will find Mr. or Ms. Right soon and you will.

Everyone needs to feel loved. 
It is true to some degree what JM said.  It is not totally true however.
An abuser is not a predator seeking a specific type. The abuser is one of those equal opportunity people. You come they serve.  An abuser only knows that there is void that is not being filled and reacts. 
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".  We are all atracted to what pleases us. It is not a good thing to say unkind words to others or to yourself.
My philo is that ugly is an act. Just as "stupid is, as stupid does" (Forrest Gump).
It is true, Jerry, that scars remind us of an event but depending on how deep it is the longer it takes to heal. Thank you for your blog.
