I see a lot of people list under their ideal match on their profile don't want children yet the man or woman already has children of their own. If a person does not want children then they would not chose a profile of a person with children I would think. When I see a guy that has do not want children marked I keep going. I bet lots of guys who would date a woman with children of her own but don't want to have another baby of their own, miss out because they have don't want children marked and visa versa. Maybe we need a I do not want to have more children of my own but someone with children would be ok box.

i am also like you on this point. when i see "does not want children" on a woman's profile, i keep going too. and of course i would date a woman with children. thats what compromise is about. when it comes to dating, i will compromise on a lot of things. we be jammin

There is an option for that. It's " Already have one/a few but no more".

I agree that a new box should be added. I have children and grandkids but would never rule out dating a man who has children, I just don't want to have any more of my own.

in my case, i love children, but am unable to have one of my own. wouldn't mind a man with kids...depending on how they've been raised, i'd welcome them with open arms.

IT could be that they might not like trying to win the childrens' hearts over or putting up with the childrens' attitudes about a "new man' coming into their lives to replace their father. Or they already had this problem with previous relationships and it didnt work out due to the childrens' attitude toward him or his kids and her kids didnt get along.
